2: Board Retreat | Good Morning Here are some info items for the retreat on Monday. We will start at noon. We aren’t planning on a noon meal, so have/grab something before you get there. I will have some snacks for the afternoon and plan something for the evening. Just to clarify -- High Point Creative is on the shores of White Bear Lake, just off of Highway 61. Lake Avenue is a one-way with no parking so you have to enter from the back, off of Shady Lane. From 694, go north on Highway 61 for 3.5 miles. Just north of the intersection of Highway 96 & 61, take a right onto Shady Lane. Park on Shady Lane or in the driveway/parking area on the left (it looks like an alley). Items for discussion: 2011-2012 Budget; Digital Files; 1 CD per team; Change College Bowl Round; College Level Contest; Change Mystery Round; Science conflict; questions for the survey at contest; Employee/contractor; Bylaws; Fall Kickoff Event; Scholarship review; Recruitment ideas; Funding possibilities; State Event – Augsburg; Promo video for site; Publicity ideas. Looking forward to seeing all of you and catching up! Paul

Rehearsing and performing without a conductor or music director, the nine members of Cantus are renowned for adventurous programming spanning many periods and genres, including work commissioned specifically for the group. Join Dr. Bribitzer-Stull (Study Guide author) and Melissa Ousley (MPR host and producer) for a Cantus rehearsal, exclusively for MLC participants. The event will enhance your students’ understanding of this year’s featured genre: choral music. After the hour-long rehearsal, Cantus members will be available for discussions and questions.
