2: Alligators are large reptiles.

4: Alligators live in tropical regions.
5: There are seven species of alligators.
6: They eat fish, birds, mammals, and some-times humans.
7: Alligators have few predators. Pythons, jaguars, and leopards can attack and kill alligators. | Baby alligators have many predators. Herons, eagles, and wild pigs eat them.
8: Female alligators hide their eggs in mud for 2-3 months. They come back to crack the eggs and take the babies to a safe place.
9: Alligators have powerful tails.
10: Alligators have short, wide snouts to catch large prey with sharp teeth.
11: Alligators have their eyes and nostrils on top of their heads. | Alligators can see and breath in the water.
