2: A Andrew Jackson There is a statue of Andrew Jackson in Jackson Square.
3: B Beignet Beignets are doughnuts with powered sugar shaped like small rectangles.
4: C Cafe Du Monde Cafe du Monde is famous for the beignets.
5: D Drum There are a lot of loud drums in Mardi Gras parades.
6: E Egret Egrets are mostly white. They like to eat fish, drink water, and play.
7: F French Market A lot of people go to the French Market to buy food, drinks, and jewelery.
8: G Gator Gators live in the Louisiana swamps.
9: H Hawk Hawks are pretty. Hawks have red or yellow feathers.
10: I Insectarium Insects are colorful and wonderful and brought to life in 3D at the Imax theater.
11: J Jackson Square Jackson Square is a park in the French Quarter.
12: K Katrina Katrina was a powerful storm in New Orleans. It happened in August, 2005.
13: L Louisiana Louisiana is known for Jazz music. Louisiana has a lot of alligators.
14: M Music Jazz music is fun, nice, and smooth.
15: N New Orleans The St. Louis Cathedral is a famous church in New Orleans.
16: O Oyster Oysters are a type of seafood we eat in New Orleans.
17: P Pelican Pelicans can fly in the sky. Pelicans eat fish.
18: Q Carnival Queen The Carnival Queen is the Queen of Mardi Gras. The Carnival Queen throws beads to the kids.
19: R Mississippi River The Mississippi River is a long river. Boats travel in the river.
20: S Superdome Our New Orleans Saints play in the Superdome. There are lots of games in the Superdome.
21: T Tabasco Tabasco is a really hot pepper sauce. It is so hot that your tongue is going to be on fire.
22: U Umbrella We danced in the second line with our umbrellas.
23: V Vieux Carre People can paint a picture of you in the Vieux Carre.
24: W Wetlands In the wetlands there are frogs, birds, snakes, and lots of water.
25: X Xavier Xavier is a famous New Orleans university.
26: Y Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker The Yellow Bellied Sap Sucker lives in Louisiana and sucks sap off of the trees.
27: Z Audubon Zoo Audubon Zoo has lots of animals. They have fish, birds, lions, monkeys, snakes and giraffes.
