Prolougue 7th grader Carla, saw her mom voting. Her mom told her she has to be 18 to vote. Carla disagrees with that decision and wants to vote. She decides that her classmates should think the same she does...

After a fun day at Gateway Elementry School it was time to go home. Carla started walking home when she saw a colorful billboard saying," Vote Jackson Smith for president."

When she got home she asked her mom if she could vote. Her mom replied,"Not until you are 18."Carla thought that it was unfair that not every body gets to voice their opinion.

" Why can't kids vote under the age of 18 years old?" Carla thought. The government thinks that kids under 18 are immature and irrational.

The next day, she surveyed her whole 7th grade class at Gate Way Elementry School, including her, asking if they think the government should lower the voting age down.

68.5% of the kids she surveyed said yes.

Later, Carla asked Larry, Bob, and Sam why they said yes. Larry replied,"18 year olds usually move out and pick up bad habits." Bob answered,"When they are 16 they learn how to drive.

Voting is just as safe as driving!" Sam said,"There are no wrong votes." What's the difference between our parents opinion and our opinion on our President."

Carla went to the school computer lab and started to think about how to set up her investigation.

She also did some research. "In 1920 womens suffarage allowed women to vote now." All these variables should be included in my investigation. Wow if people didn't go through what they went through women couldn't be able to vote.

After Carla finished her investigation she decided to run for Student Body President. With the help of her classmates, she won the election.

Epilouge 25 years later... Carla ran for the President of the United States. With her backround passion for Presidency she

succesfully became the first female President of the United States. Becoming the President means new

responsibilities for Carla. As she is sitting at her desk doing bills she remembers back to her 4th grade year...She remembers being taught mean(average),

median(middle number), mode(most occuring), and range(the greatest number subtract the smallest number.)

Using these four things she finished her bills quickly!
