BC: Mr. Stiles the adventurous leader!
FC: Pinnacles National Monument Crossroads Christian School 5th Grade Adventure on October 8, 2008
From the school to the park, it took about 1.25 hours. We enjoyed the visitor center, ate a snack, and began the hike. The hike was up Bear Gulch trail. We had lunch at a small lake and returned. What a great learning trip with enjoyable people!
Hannah, Kelly and Brandon posing on the hike
Lots and Lots of various rock formations--the whole place is complete with the beauty of God's creation.
He lets me rest in green meadows; He leads me beside peaceful waters. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Psalm 23:2-3
In the cave looking up and out!
We visited a cool cave. To the left is a spring. The other pictures are varioius shots inside the cave. There are many bats as well that live there.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. Psalm 18:2
I really liked the trip to the Pinnacles. Spiders are scary but they're cool.and we saw a wild tarantula for the first time ever. Before we got to the lake, a deer ran by us. When we got to the lake I saw a few people by the shore, and I ran over there and in the lake I saw two water snakes. They were really cool. I also saw a few frogs and red and blue dragon flys. Also one of my favorite | parts was when I saw the rock shaped like a monkey head. I would like to see some bats. Maybe I'll see some next time I go." --Kristian
