Language Arts | Literature texts books extremely heavy Are given to us, full of stories. Never-ending Greek Roots that Grow our vocabulary that is Used to expand our knowledge of the world And separate us from cavemen. GSMST pushing us farther to read unearthed ancient writings, Eating away the boredom within our hearts, making us happy. Anyone could be a part of this expanding knowledge Ready to apply it to the world, To make it change for the better So that everyone is in harmony, just like in the story.

Self Esteem | Sometimes I win, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I lose, sometimes I won’t. Depending on me, I might do both. I’m just that special. It really just depends on my mood. I’m not the average girl. And I’m not going to change the way you want me to. I learned not to be anyone else Because I am me. I’m not you or your friend. My worth is not determined by what you think. No matter, I’m worth what I believe, I will always be me.

My Mother's Kitchen | The kitchen was completely empty, Not a soul in sight. But there was a smell very tempting, That would make one’s hunger spike. Mother comes into the kitchen. She continues over to the oven to take out the bread. It makes you feel like something was missing. If only that bee next to it wasn’t dead. When all of the sudden the bee springs to life, Around and around the bread it flies. Mother notices the bee and screams with great fright. Father leaps into the room after hearing his wife’s cries.

Now, surely you can understand, Why that delicious bread and green plate were on the ground. The bread fell by Mother’s hand. But I assure you it was the bee’s sound. If someone who was allergic to a bee, Saw this buzzing enemy, Then I’m really sorry to say, That any bread will be dead that day.

Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology: Home to the only smart kids in the county. And at a glance that’s what seems But there are dumb people here too in reality. Hundreds of kids immediately flunk, With others to follow without any luck. | GSMST Poem

Climbing stories give our shoes wear As we climb sixty thousand stairs. But it’s okay, we’re in shape. Not just our bodies, but our brains As we fill them in with facts, and sure We are totally nerds.

Last Time Travel | As time passes by, and I ring a bell The old days and future come and go in this town That spill out from me and disappear with time I keep warm in my hands and remember There isn't anything that doesn't change. When the joyous and time times fade The tears that flood out and spill out afterwards Illuminate me with their soft light. In a new time we begin. A strong gust hits our sails Sailing on a large boat With you, I embark on a time travel

My beating heart echoes just as Light and darkness come in and go in this town But, I certainly believe in this warmth Even though it constantly passes in time. There isn't anything that doesn't change The wind that blows, and the seasons fade Though in the break of the sad clouds It seems a there's a brilliant world I can reach In a new time we begin A strong gust to hits our sails Sailing on a large boat With you, I embark on a time travel Towards the end of our journey
