 Language Arts

Language Arts Language arts is where words all jumble up and collide with each other like a traffic jam on a freeway in your head. Language arts is where you need to write, and start to panic when your head is empty (otherwise known as having a writer’s block). Language arts is where you to do reading and comprehension tests, which causes words to float off the page and swim before your eyes after a while. Language arts also is where words dance and come together in a lovely ballet and weave enchanting stories in your head. Language arts also is where you can’t wait to write with your mighty pen, and your head is full of ideas that can’t wait to pour out onto the paper (or laptops). Language arts also is where there are many splendid stories waiting to be discovered by eager excited eyes to hungrily devour. This is language arts.

 Self | Confidence | Poem

Self Confidence Poem Sometimes I straighten my hair, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I wear contacts, sometimes I won’t. Depend on how lazy I am, I might even not comb my hair. It really just depends on how late I wake up. I’m not (the average) girl. And I ain’t perfect. But I learned to love that how I was created is the best for me. Because I am who I am. I’m not you, I’m just me. My worth is not determined by other people’s opinions .No matter what I look like or wear, I will always be me.

 My | Mother's | Kitchen

My Mother’s Kitchen It was a summer Sunday afternoon. My friend wasn’t leaving soon. She was staying in my home, so we decided to roam. Inside and outside we explored it all. After a while, we were dying to fall In a chair to alleviate our sore feet. What we wanted to do next was to watch a DVD. Watching a movie required food. The type of chow to eat was not hard to choose. Popcorn was the food choice picked, so we headed to the kitchen with a purpose. The oven, a dead bug, and green countertops greeted us as we walked into the kitchen without making a fuss. Calmly, we asked my mom if we could pop some corn. She thought it was a good idea so she said sure. We took out the popcorn popping machine And poured the corn kernels into the proper cavity. The butter was melted and the salt was prepared for when the popcorn was ready to be shared. Pop! Pop! Pop! The kernels burst into mini clouds. They came jumping out of the opening with a sound that was pretty loud. Butter and salt were mixed in and the snack was ready for us to eat. We popped the DVD in the T.V and finally watched the movie.

GSMST Oh GSMST how magnificent you were! You came from a humble beginning in a small school. You needed not to use laptops as a lure. Your education opportunities, to reject it, one would be a fool. Oh GSMST how wonderful you are! You dwarf the other schools with your advanced technology. Your halls are filled with many bright stars. You surely, if ever needed, deserve an eulogy. Oh GSMST how amazing you will be! You will have taken part in shaping every students smarts. You will keep on creating more opportunities. And you will always be in each and every one of our hearts.

By Your Side | By: Tokio Hotel

No one knows how you feel No one there you'd like to see The day was dark and full of pain You write help with your own blood 'Cause hope is all you've got You open up you eyes But nothings changed [I don't want to cause you trouble Don't wanna stay too long I just came here to say to you Turn around, I am here If you want it's me you'll see Doesn't count, far or near I can hold you when you reach for me] Your life is meaningless Your diary full of trash It's so hard to get along with empty hands You're looking for the rainbow But it died not long ago It tried to shine just for you Until the end | Chorus If the world makes you confused And your senses you seem to lose If the storm doesn't want to diffuse And you just don't know what to do Look around, I am here Doesn't count far or near I am by your side Just for a little while Turn around Turn around I am here Turn around, doesn't count, far or near Turn around, if you want it's me you'll see Turn around, I can hold you when you reach for me Turn around, I am here Doesn't count, far or near I am by your side Just for a little while We'll make it if we try
