4: Mother turtle swims to the beach.

5: She drags her body on to the beach and finds a good spot to lay her eggs.

6: Then she digs a hole with her flippers, and lays her eggs. She buries the eggs. The eggs hatch a few weeks later.

7: The baby turtle hatches out of the egg and follows the moonlight to the sea.

8: Sea turtle eggs are no bigger than a babies hand and there are up to 100 babies in a sea turtle nest at a time. Baby turtles do not have any teeth when they are born.

9: They eat food and grow bigger. So they can become moms and dads later.

10: Some turtles go to random beaches. In some habitats there are predators. Adults of most species are found in shallow coastal waters, bays, lagoons, and estuaries. Some also venture into the open sea.

12: They migrate from the Mediterranean sea, Gulf of Mexico, and warm oceans. Sea turtles go back to where they are born to lay their eggs. They lay around 100 eggs.

13: They come back to the same exact place to where they were born to lay their eggs.

14: Loggerhead sea turtles will eat jelly fish. They will also eat trash. They will eat seaweed, shrimp, clams, mollusks and pieces of whale.

15: Green sea turtles eat algae. They eat mostly plants. Baby sea turtles eat mostly plants and meat.

16: Their flippers help them catch the jellyfish they eat. The loggerhead turtle uses its powerful jaw muscles to crush the shells.

17: FAST FACTS | A sea turtle can not put his head under his shell like land turtles can. Sea turtles spend most of their time in the ocean. Loggerheads are not hurt a lot. The loggerheads are endangered. They eat jellyfish.
