Comparison between The Master Puppeteer and Japan's history!

 Japan!

ART AND PUPPETS Importance in Book: Importance in Japan History: Puppets were used to manipulate someone, but Japanese used them for other things. Bunraku puppets were the most expensive puppets and were used to replace actors on stage. Play writers who wrote plays wanted to enlarge people’s plays and make the plays better by having wooden puppets. People in the world believed that puppetry was an art and how they had advantages that the humans didn't have. The puppets were made usually made by more than one person because the people would need to design the puppet carefully and with one person it would take to long. The puppets were used in plays in theaters.

SAMURAI SWORD Importance in Book: The samurai sword was found by Jiro in the theater's storage. He knew this was subaro's sword and thought that the subaro was Yoshida, because he also found the hat in Yoshida's house. It turned out that Okada was the subaro and Yoshida, Jiro's dad and other people worked for him.

Importance in Japan History: The samurai sword was an important part in Japan history. They were worn by samurais and they were different sizes. One sword was for battle and that was the longer sword and the smaller one was for sacrifice. When a samurai didn't want to die in battle he would stab himself with the smaller sword. The Japanese swords were double edged witch meant it had two edges and was an iron sword. The swords were made by hand and those who made it (blacksmiths) were respected people in Japan. each sword that samurais had were designed specifically for that samurai. The sword wasn't just meant for battle it was also meant for honor. The samurai who had these swords were really respected in Japan.

Importance in Japan History: Before people used money to buy goods they bartered witch meant they exchanged a one good for another. They developed money because some people didn't know if it was worth exchanging what they had for something else. Money was developed in the West by Lydians and later other countries would start using money. Paper money was developed in China and moved on to other countries. When kept going around the world it wasn't valued as much as it was before. People decided was better than bartering because when not knowing how much something is worth you don't know if you want to get it, but with money their would be a price on things and you would decide if it was a could deal.
