FC: Gc103140 Slave trade mixbook assignment by Grant Chesbro

1: After a little while they take the slaves to their ships and leave for Europe & America. | Slave traders begin to take over communities and villages. they sort out the men,women and children.

2: Conditions on the ships were very bad it was difficult for them to even eat. Often times they were very sick or too scared to want to eat.

3: When slaves were captured and being taken to their owners home, sometimes sacks were placed on their heads and they would have no idea were they were going.

4: Slaves were taken from many different areas along the West coast of Africa. The slaves would watch from the ships as the coastline got smaller and smaller knowing they were never to return.

5: Conditions on the ships were terrible. Many people got sick from the heat and smell of people going to the bathroom everywhere. Only at certain times were they allowed to go on deck to get fresh air.
