2: Human effect on the environment has changed the way nature lives a lot. For example, here is a coal factory. It pushes gas into the air and ruins our o-zone. | Example 2. 3: An individual is one species living in an area where it is not interacting with other species or its own kind. For example, the Hawk and the Lizard are not interacting with anything else making it an individual. | Individual
4: Community | A community means two or more species are interacting together in a specific area at one time.
5: An ecosystem is a mixture of living and non-living things in a specific area. For example, a hillside and a forest is an ecosystem. | Ecosystem
6: Abiotic is non-living. For example, the television and the IPod are not living and cannot produce anything making them Abiotic. | Abiotic
7: A Decomposer is an organism that feeds on dead organisms. For example, the Fungi on this tree is a Decomposer because the tree is dead. | Decomposer
