1: \ | The sugar Act was passed on April 5, 1764. It was the first attempt to recover from the war and from the colonies expenses to the war. (French and Indian) It also helped out with the maintaining of British troupes in the colonies. The sugar act lowered the prices of foreign molasses and raised the prices of foreign refined molasses.

2: The Stamp Act was passed on March 22, 1765. It forced a tax to be paid on every piece of paper such as cards, stationary, paper...etc. All the money that was collected by the tax was used to pay the cost of defending the American frontier.

5: On December 16 of 1773 their was an organized refusal to the tea act. They refused to accept a shipment a tea in protest to the tax after parliaments repeal to the Townsend acts. | Patriots know as Sons of Liberty led by Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and others, dressed up like Indians and snook aboard a British ship. They dumped some 300 vessels of tea into the ocean.
