1: Geography | Thailand is located in Southeast Asia bordering its neighboring countries; Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia in the east and Myanmar in the northwest. A small part of Thailand in south connects with Malaysia. Thailand's borders also touch the waters of the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Their tallest mountains are in the north.
2: Climate | The climate is tropical with moist and humid weather. Between the months of May and September it has warm temperatures,rains a lot,and has southwest monsoon. Between November and mid March, it has dry and cool weather with a north east monsoon. In the southern isthmus it has a constant hot and humid climate.
3: People & Culture | Thailand's total population is about 65 million. Their main language is Thai in different dialects depending on which region they came from. Even thought though Thai is their main language they also know English. Most common religions for them include Buddhism and Muslim. Most of their culture is influenced by Chinese and Indian such as their food containing the spicy dishes and same ingredients as them.
4: Government and Leaders | They have a constitutional monarchy that includes a king and prime minister. Their system of government is civil law system with common law influences. Like the U.S. they have the same 3 government branches. Some important leaders include Kings Mongkut and his son Chulalongkorn in the 19th century they added the Western influences to the country. Also King Phumiphon who is the current king of Thailand.
