2: Hi, my name is Joey. I will be your guide as we explore Australia, the only country that is also its own continent. | I am going to teach you about the five themes of geography. These themes are place, region, movement, human-environment intercation, and location.

3: This is my home. It is home to many other kangaroo families and koala bears. | The theme place is about the culture and physical processes of an area. Culture is about language, religion, traits, and lifestyles. The physical features are the climate, soil, vegetation, and landforms.

4: The Great Barrier Reef is one of the many landforms here in Australia. It is off the East coast. | Australia is very flat and arid.

5: There are several different climate zones: equatorial, tropical, subtropical, desert, grassland, and temperate.

6: The theme region is about the characteristics of an area. There are three types of regions: formal, funtional, and perpetual. | These are the seven regions of australia.

7: The theme movement is the moving of one thing to somewhere else, such as the spread of a certain religion.

8: Location refers to where something is. A map is the best way to show location. Absolute location uses longitude and latitude, while relative location tell where something is in relation to anther thing. Example: McDonald's is by the mall.

9: Below is a map of Australia with the capital cities labeled.

10: Human enviornment interaction deals with the landscape and how humans change their surroundings.

13: Australia has participated in every summer Olympics.

14: The Concert Hall, where the Sydney Symphony performs. | Completed in 1973. | One of the most popular tourist attractions in Australia.
