S: Sunflower Life Cycle
BC: This book is dedicated to Miss Pendergrass' fourth grade science class. Plants make the world beautiful
FC: By S. H. Pendergrass
1: Welcome to Miss Pendergrass' big book of the Sunflower Life Cycle. Here you will witness the amazing life of a sunflower from seed to germination, adulthood, reproduction and death. Let's explore together...
2: The plant life cycle begins with a seed. Inside each seed, there is a plant. When the plant gets the right amount of food, water and air, it begins to grow.
3: When the seed is planted and begins growing, the sunflower seed shell cracks open and the seed begins to germinate there.
4: The shell eventually falls off and leaves begin to grow.
5: A small plant develops, which still needs plenty of water, food and sunlight to grow into a large sunflower.
6: Sunflower plants grow EXTREMELY tall.
7: They sprout buds which will eventually bloom into large, yellow sunflowers.
8: Sunflowers grow into large beautiful plants | BEAUTIFUL
