BC: This book is dedicated to Miss Pendergrass' fourth grade science class. Plants make the world beautiful

FC: By S. H. Pendergrass

Welcome to Miss Pendergrass' big book of the Sunflower Life Cycle. Here you will witness the amazing life of a sunflower from seed to germination, adulthood, reproduction and death. Let's explore together...

The plant life cycle begins with a seed. Inside each seed, there is a plant. When the plant gets the right amount of food, water and air, it begins to grow.

When the seed is planted and begins growing, the sunflower seed shell cracks open and the seed begins to germinate there.

The shell eventually falls off and leaves begin to grow.

A small plant develops, which still needs plenty of water, food and sunlight to grow into a large sunflower.

 Sunflower plants grow EXTREMELY tall.

They sprout buds which will eventually bloom into large, yellow sunflowers.

Sunflowers grow into large beautiful plants | BEAUTIFUL
