3: The Battle of Midway occurred on June 4 -7th 1942. It was between Japan and The United States. It took place near the Midway Atoll. Japan had 4 carries, 2 battle ships, 15 support planes, 248 aircrafts, 5 battle ships and 41 support boats. The United States had 3 carriers, 25 support ships, 233 carriers aircraft, 173 land base land craft. Japan lost 3,057 solders while the United States lost 307. The United States won this battle.

4: The Battle Coral Sea happened on May 4-8th 1942. It was Japan against the United States and Australia. It was fought at the Coral Sea between Australia, New Guinea, and the Solomon. Japan had 2 fleet, 1 light carrier, 9 cruisers, 15 destroyers, 12 small warships, 1 oiler, 1 seaplane tender, 12 transports, and 127 carrier aircrafts. The Allies had 2 fleet carriers, 9 cruisers, 13 destroyers, 2 oilers, 1 seaplane, and 128 carrier aircrafts. At the end Japan won in tactical victory and the Allied won by strategic.

7: The battle of Iwo Jima was fought on February 19- March 26, 1945. It took place at Iwo Jima, Japan. Japan fought against the United States. Japan lost 18,300 people and 216 captured, while the United States lost 6,821 and 19,217 people. The United States won the battle.
