S: Transatlantic Slavery Assignment

FC: Transatlantic Slavery Assignment World Cultures

1: transatlantic Slavery began when the continent of Africa captured others from African villages to become slaves within the various countries of Africa.

2: Africans would be working and the children would be left at the village. The traders would come and steal the children away for slavery within the country or neighboring villages in Africa. Children were taken in and treated better in Africa than they would be when they were taken to other continents by ship.

3: Slave Ships that were not healthy took the slaves away from their country and continent. This ship would take them to the Indies where English and American Plantation owners would purchase them. Sometimes the slaves would revolt on the ships that were carrying them, to try to escape. The Slaves worked in the Fields if they were healthy enough to.
