FC: Women in the war

1: The women in the civil war had jobs such as : teachers, office workers, sales clerks, government workers, managed and factories | women of the civil war would form groups

2: women of the civil war would form groups like the Sick Soldier's Relief Society and The Soldier's Aid Society.Women in they North and South made bandages for the for the wounded and knit socks to keep the soldiers feet from getting wet and to keep them warm.Women worked to manufacture arms,ammunitions,uniforms, and other supplies for the soldiers.Women made 900,000 rounds of munitions.

3: The women of the war had a huge responsibility. They need to make sure that all the mens jobs that were no longer being done got done. They very quickly had to learn, and do everything. The women were called vivadieres. Witch meant that they were servants

4: for the first time ever there were thousands of women severing as nurses. They also were forced to served as spies. Some disguised themselves as men and became solders

5: The women in the war normally took the jobs of poor white men. Some dresses as men and worked in the war. Most women worked as teachers, office workers, managers, sales clerks, and some worked for the government.

6: How big of a part did the women take in the war? The women on the battle field had a big part because the were taking care of everyone who got wounded. The women in the factories were there to do all the men jobs.

7: "who benefited and who did not from the women in the war?" The men benefited from the women in the war because when they got hurt the women where right there to fix them up. The family's didn't benefit because many were lost in this war.

8: "What if the women where never part of the civil war?" We would have lost a lot more men then we did. A lot more gang green would have went around. The men wouldn't have had all the tools that they did. If they weren't around to work in the factories then the men would have had to ship in all the things that they need witch would have cost a lot of money that they didn't have.

9: "would life in the civil war have been different with out the women?" Yes, the men would have had to do everything. that would have meant that there would not have been enough men to do everything that got done by women.the men would have more responsible if the women were never around.the south would have probably won and the slave would have never been freed.

10: "Are women still a part of the war?" Yes, women at still apart of the war.They can now do a lot more then they did in the civil war.Now they can be commards,officers,doctors,plummers,general,and a lot of other stuff they couldn't be able to do in the civil war.Women are lucky they can do more now and be apart of more then they used too.
