 World War 1 Propaganda

"You better watch out cuz' Vader's on their side. To defeat him and the Germans you have to have pride" The German's helmets inspired Darth Vader's (Star Wars 3-6) helmet. That is why I used Vader in that poem.

"Hey, Hey, Mr.Peanut is with us. With him, the others will wuss. C'mon soldiers, come to our store, and by some peanuts to get done with the chore." What I think of this poster is that the Planters Co. wanted soldiers to take some peanuts with them to war and also to make a profit.

"Waste helps the enemy, so please conserve. The enemy will get the head start, so save your gasoline and rubber." During the war years, gasoline, rubber, sugar, butter, and meat were rationed. Government publicity reminded people that shortages of these materials occurred because they were going to the troops, and the civilians should take part in conservation and salvage campaigns.

"Come on people and step on it. The Germans will cower like pieces of... crap. We will pop bullets in their heads, kind of like bubble wrap." This poster is pretty simple. All it does is telling people to join the military by telling people to step on the Nazi sign.
