1: A Bridal Shower for Krystal Saturday, April 2nd, 2011 Given by Amy Spiers

6: For this child I prayed... On May 21st, 1975, we welcomed you into our family, and into our hearts. | I had already been praying for your future mate, though I didn't know his name. Our heart's desire was that you would grow up loving and serving the Lord, and that you would not date or marry out of God's will. Hudson Taylor said it well: "God gives the best to those who leave the choice to Him." I'm thankful you waited until God led you to Bill.

7: It's a privilege and blessing to be helping you plan your wedding. May your love be nourished by your commitment to the Lord and to each other. With love and prayers, Mom

11: Where do I even begin, my dear friend, to say how special you are to me? You have been a part of my life as long as I can remember. God, in His goodness, gave me you to fill a treasured place in my heart, and I'm so glad He did! We have grown, lived, laughed, cried, and done life together as friends, allies, sisters, roommates, partners in crime, kindred spirits, and soul mates. I celebrate with you as you join together with Bill in the covenant of marriage. May the Lord forever be first and foremost in your life, and may He bless you with great love and joy as the two of you walk the path that He has carved out for you. 12: Krystal, I have great memories of us together on the Grand Canyon trip. Hope you do too.! Really, I have so many great memories with you. You've been a dear friend in my life: you are someone I can talk to openly, share with, and remember with. You've inspired me in my walk with the Lord, you have encouraged me when I needed it, and you've been loyal even when I didn't deserve it. Bill is truly blessed to be gaining such a friend and wife. May God knit your lives together in a way that is beautiful, joyful, and honoring to Him. 18: Becca (on the left) and myself (on the right) were both in Krystal's church group for many years. Krystal had a really hard time telling us apart! We had so much fun with Krystal and she provided a safe place for all of us to share about our lives. I remember visiting Krystal's house and thinking that it was SO COOL to hang out without any parents around! I'm deeply grateful for the time that Krystal invested in our lives! Annie Evans

19: Krystal, Thank you for being such an important part of my life! You have taught me so much--how to study the Bible, how to trust the Lord, and how to be a faithful friend, to name a few. Do you remember our lesson on Jael? I certainly do, and now my daughter is named after her. Every time I think about her name, I also think about you and am thankful for the lasting legacy you have passed on to me and to my daughter. 30: ONLY Krystal could handle with EASE five little kids, and do it time and time again. You are amazing, Krystal, and such a gift to our family. Concussions, missing boys, hormonal girls, floods, fender benders, school, work, spankings (now and again), and TONS Of LOVE. We wish you lots of trips to Hawaii and Europe :-), and maybe one of these days we can watch your kids for you! (REALLY!...if the real Grandpa and Grandma need a hand.) 31: Krystal, In the years that I have gotten to know you, I have been blessed with your sense of humor and adventure.
