2: Breath's of air escape me as I draw. While the sigh’s of contemplation consume me. Confusion is exerted in the air of paint, As I inhale the mystic majestic smells that gloom me. Songs melodies sound different to me as I stroke, The brush, it seems to play a different tune. The use of different instruments and utensils Is what I assume. Thoughts that was once clear as paper- Have now become chaotic and perplexed. Is it about sacrificing the finished masterpiece of my artwork? Or the current status minus progression to success? Negativity that was once seen as positive Paints a dissimilar portrait, no longer seen as a work of art But, a depiction of a photograph, everlastingly unforgotten -In the mind and in the heart. | anvas
3: Senseless is not the objective- Reality renowned without denial The race is not won, but given to the swift And all the while Capturing a picture not ready to be perfect Is predestined to not develop into the artist’s water paint portrait For the paint is runny, the dried art is faded, And the paper has significantly ripped Inhale the new image, for it may have better equipped For the portrait you seek to complete Exhale the new work of art The crafting, the finishing canvas of me. | Written By: LMB 2010
