1: Thank you for your years of dedication to the students of Stillwater Public Schools. Your presence will be truly missed.
2: We finally got to meet your grandbabies!
5: And what beautiful girls they are!
29: Renee, You have been so much more than my boss through these years. You have been a friend and a mentor. I've learned so much from you and hope to continue your legacy of compassion for children and passion for service to students with special needs. We were asked to contribute memories for this special occasion of your retirement. This was a difficult task because I have so many memories of working with you. Should I talk about our years of teaching Adult Basic Ed? That would definitely include the nights of cooking in the HS cafeteria with the students. We had so much fun with them! Then I considered including moments from the "Lawrence Years", but decided those were memories best left in their place. So that leaves me with the "Davis Years". How can I ever forget the infamous IEP meeting at Meridian? Remember when we all stood up and followed Debbie out of that conference room? The looks on the faces of the Meridian people were priceless! And what fun it was to participate in a deposition! Not really, I hope we never have to do that again! One thing is absolute, my years with this district have been memorable and enjoyable because of you. I will miss your smile and unending positive attitude. Thank you for being more than my colleague, thank you for being my friend. Melisa Kifer
