2: The marriage ritual | This ceremony takes place in the Mosque. were a man and a woman and friends gather at a mosque were they are welcomed by a great man who marries them. The two would then celebrate any were they chose but most certainly there will be no alcohol.

3: The welcoming ritual is when a new born gets welcomed to the life of Islam. The day is celebrated in different ways depending on the family but it is only info and spreading the word that he or she is named and born, its not really celebrated because there are no birthdays in the Islamic religun | The Welcoming ritual

4: Initiation (The Shahada) | This day is the day that introduces a boy or girl into the full Islamic religion. This ceremony is ether in privet or in a mosque and usually take place in the middle teens otherwise there is no set age.

5: When someones life has passed onto the next his or her family and friends may bring him to a funeral home and it will include the read out of the janazah (prayers for the dead, at the graveside. Islams limits the official period of mourning of a family member to 40 days. The family is expected to resume there regular life after a few days after the funeral. | Funerals and Mourning

6: Ramadan | Ramadan is of the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. The days may change depending on the calendar you use (Luner/or Solar) | This time is for reflecting on life and purifying your self. During this time you can not eat,or drink from sunrise to sunset.(depending on how old you are you may not need to do that) you also can not smoke, and of course you can not drink alcohol EVER!

7: This day is celebrated on the 27th day of the 7th month and it celebrates the day muhammad went on a journey from mecca to the discipline of daily prayer. | Al-Isra Wal Miraj
