I liked the Iwo Jema memorial very much because the battle that was fought there was one of my favorites. the men who were hoisting up the flag on top of the memorial was very inspiring to me because of ll the hard work they had done. There was also an optical illusion to the memorial. the memorial was much bigger than i thought which made me even more surprised over all this was my favorite memorial.

I thought the capitol building was very interesting because of its shape. Also it is very cool to know that you are in the same building that senators work in. the capitol is in the middle of Washington. the dome inside the capitol is amazing. also the sights inside the capitol are absolutely amazing.

The Vietnam memorial was very sad. all the names of the people who died were carved in stone on the wall which is good for them because her names will always be honored. the people who made the memorial must put a lot of effort into. the way the wall is shaped was also very cool its started small, got bigger and bigger, then got smaller and smaller again.

The Korean memorial was also awesome because it had two cool things to it. first it had faces of people carved into the stone. second, it had figures of American solders walking through rice plantations. The statues are very real looking which makes the memorial even better. overall one of the coolest memorials i saw on the trip.

The WW11 memorial was also one of my favorites. it is my favorite because of how it looks form above and while your walking around it in. second, because it has panels for every state in the United States. Also, there was a big fountain in the middle. overall it was defiantly one of my favorite memorials.

the air and space museum was my favorite museum for many reasons. first because of all the space shuttles and space devises. second because of the very fun flight simulators. there were also bombs and nukes there too which were hugs. also the little walk thorough places in the museums were fun too.

The Arlington National Cemetery is very unique and amazing but also sad. it is humongous in size and it has many many graves. also the graves are set up just like an army is in strait perfect lines. also there is the tomb of the unknown solder. and my favorite part is the everlasting flame of JFK it really show a lot of respect to him.

The American history museum was one of my favorite museums. even though i had already been there it was sill great. the first room when you walk in is the flag room which i believe is very cool how it talks about the flag and when and how it was mad and who it was made by. the museum also did a very good job of accurately showing what it was like back in the old days, i almost felt like i was there.
