3: Jane was born on September 29, 1942. Here mother's name was Alice and her father's name was Tony. She was born in West Virginia and was raised in Beverly, Illinois. | Jane has one brother named Michael and one Sister name Alice. When Jane was a child she was a ballerina and a volleyball player. She was proud that she was able to dance on point shoes and her volleyball team won the city championship.

5: MAKING MEMORIES | Jane was a very educated woman. She attend St. Mary's College for her Bachelor's Degree, Marquette University for her Master of Arts Degree, and Northern Illinois University for her Doctorate. She also studied abroad throughout Europe while she was in college.

14: Take a Second, Make a Difference! | Jane spent over 40 years in the field of education. Many students have told us what an impact she was on them. She taught them not only lessons from books, but most importantly lessons on life.

26: DeJovine, Dr. Jane Frances 1942-2011. Jane passed away peacefully with loved ones at her side on the evening of March 18, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. Jane is survived by her husband of forty years, Dr. James M. DeJovine; daughters Maddie M. Meeker (Jack) and Morgan J. DeJovine (Nick) and grandson, Brayden A. Daniel. Jane was a long time resident of Placentia, California and spent many summer evening under an oak tree with her devoted husband James at their farm is Osceola, Missouri. Jane devoted 40 years in the field of education. Jane's passion was in World Religions, Theology, Philosophy, Ethics, Literature and English. Her desire was to be involved in preparing the next generation to equip her students to make this a better world. Jane's interests were in writing, drawing, and spinning sheep wool. Jane was a loving wife, showed her children what unconditional love is, and lived a life dedicated to making a difference. She was am amazing woman and will be profoundly missed. | Orange County Register: March 23, 2011

27: September 29, 1942- March 18, 2011

29: Jane's funeral was held on March 26, 2011 at the Pope John Paul Center. There we over 200 people who attended the services and after we had a reception at the house that was filled with fond memories and laughter about Jane.
