FC: Jocelyn & Paul
Hello!! We are Jocelyn and Paul. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and allowing us to tell you a little about our life together. | We cannot imagine the emotions you are experiencing with your decision to consider an adoption plan for your child. We are humbled by the love you must have for your child shown through planning an adoption. We admire your strength and courage and are excited to be part of your journey. Thank you for looking through our family portrait - we're honored you might consider us as adoptive parents and look forward to answering any questions you may have. Sincerely, Paul and Jocelyn
We have been happily married for 10 years and have been trying to start a family for several of those years. Faced with the struggles of infertility and the inability to grow our family naturally, we are excited about adoption and welcoming a child into our home.
We grew up in neighboring towns and began dating while attending the University of New Brunswick. We dated throughout college and after graduation, Paul moved to North Carolina to pursue further studies. We maintained a long distance relationship for about a year when it soon became apparent that our bond would become inseparable. We both realized our desire to spend the rest of our lives together. It was this long distance relationship that helped to establish the strong building blocks of our future. In December of 2000 we celebrated our commitment in marriage.
After marrying, we transferred a number of times. Stops included North Carolina, Canada, Indiana, and Maine. It was in 2007 when we planted roots here in Maine, and we knew it was here that we wanted to settle and start a family.
Family and Friends Family and Friends are important to us and we enjoy going to Canada to spend time with loved ones. Jocelyn comes from a family of 6 children and 24 nieces and nephews. Paul's family includes 2 sisters, one of which has twin girls. Having our family so close allows us to spend time together during special occasions such as holidays and vacations. Our families fully support our decision to adopt and they too look forward to embracing our child and welcoming him or her into our growing family. | Jocelyn, Paul's Dad and Niece Kaley | Paul's Mom and Sister Andrea

Our Home & Community We purchased our home in Maine three years ago. We're fortunate to live in a family friendly community with excellent schools. Our community has a park with playground, sports fields, ski hill and indoor pool. We can't wait to teach our child how to swim and ski!
We enjoy spending time outside working in the yard on outdoor projects and seeing the fruits of our labor.
OUR FOUR LEGGED FAMILY We are blessed to have two wonderful Labrador Retrievers (Buddy and Rocky) and two cats (Fletcher and Abby). They are all rescued animals and provide great joy in our lives along with countless hours of fun and laughter. WOOF!!
Work: Jocelyn has worked in the school system for many years as a substitute teacher and education tech. Currently, she assists children with special needs. While Jocelyn enjoys working with the children, we're pleased she'll become a stay at home mom with our child. Paul works as the Director of Operations for a national parts supply company. He takes providing for his family very seriously and is ready to secure a strong future for our child.
VACATION TIME! For vacations, we enjoy spending time at the beach or lakes - pretty much anywhere with water. Our favorite beach location is in Destin Florida, where we make a trip each spring. We can't wait to bring our child to Destin to enjoy the sun, sand and surf.... | On the Dock in Destin, FL | Key West, FL

Jocelyn (or Joce) as many know her, is a wonderful wife and she is truly my best friend. After having endured the many obstacles during our natural family planning efforts, I continue to be amazed at her willingness to take on whatever challenge lies ahead. She offers warmth and comfort to all those who know her, and her dedication and love to our family, friends and animals is incredible. | About Jocelyn
When it comes to family, she is a wonderful daughter, daughter-in-law and aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Joce stays fit by taking part in a variety of exercise programs and helps head up the community fitness class. She enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, crocheting and cooking. The handmade garments and the wonderful home cooked meals make me excited to welcome our child!! Jocelyn is an amazing woman and soon to be amazing mom!
Paul is my foundation! Through our many years together he is always standing by my side. He is a hard worker and has provided me with my animals and his love and support. This will only carry on as we welcome | a child into our family. I admire his strength as we've faced our struggles, but look forward to this strength as we have our own child. I'm looking forward to all those moments where he will comfort our child with his warm embrace. Paul is very witty and can always make me laugh. I can see him providing so many moments of laughter and joy with our child. Anytime we have children in our home, Paul is eager to capture the moment. I'm looking forward to him capturing all those amazing memories of our child in print and video. Paul enjoys sports, and I am excited to see him teach our child how to ski and skate., and about many other sports. He has fond memories of he and his father taking special adventures together. I know he will make special memories with our little one. | About Paul
Paul has a special place in his heart for our animals and humans alike. Our child will certainly understand how it feels to be loved and safe. Paul is a wonderful husband and will be a great father.
