1: Grandpa Petersen (Irv) & his sisters; 1918 | Aunt Joan, Dad & Uncle Steve; 1947

2: Petersen Family Lineage ... Christian Petersen & Ane Catherine Lund; Married 09/12/1862 Christian & Ane were farmers in Denmark and parents to 5 children... Kristen (male), Jens Peter, Louis Peter, Thora Agnette Sophie & Ane Kristine. Jens Peter traveled to America in 1884 and settled in Ringstead, Iowa. Louis Peter traveled to America in 1889 and settled in Racine, WI. Jens & Louis came to America looking for work, due to poverty in Denmark. The oldest son, Kristen stayed on the family farm, Ellebaekgard. The family farm expanded into a 2 acre parcel & is currently owned by Kristen Petersen's great-great grandson Erik. There is still furniture on the farm from Louis Peter's era. Jens had 7 children; Ane, Ella, Arlene, JoAnne, Lenora, Helen, Adolph. Adolph died in 1944 during the famous WWII battle at Dunkirk Jens died in 1952. Louis Peter Petersen & Christine Marie Christensen; Married 06/09/1888 Immigrated to America on 05/20/1889; Naturalized citizens 08/31/1906 Louis; Born 01/01/1866 in Allindille, Ringsted, Shelland, Denmark. Christine; Born 11/18/1870 in Kirke Sonnerup, A.M.T., Roskilde, Shelland, Denmark. Louis died 05/28/1954 & Christine died 07/13/1946; both in Racine, WI**

Dagmar, Anna E., Irving Louis & Dorothy Anna born 04/11/1892, in Utah Irv born 04/03/19XX, in Racine Irving Louis Petersen & Mildred Elizabeth Freitag; Married 06/1935 Irv & Mil lived in Racine, WI and were parents to 4 children ... Theodore (died as an infant), Irving Jerome, Joan Margaret & Stephen Jay **This information was written in a bible that belonged to Christine Marie (Christensen) Petersen. Records reflect the family surname was spelled Pedersen before coming to US, after coming to the US, Petersen. Some of Christine's relatives traveled across the US in covered wagons to settle in Spanish Forks, Utah. Grandpa Petersen's Uncle was mayor of Spanish Forks. Christine's brother Christian was a blacksmith
