5: Antonio Gonzales & Santa Jimenez They were originally from Zaragoza Coahuila Mexico, a small city located north of Mexico. They had thirteen children, but only seven made it to adulthood. Heberto,Antonio,Fortunato,Anita,Amalia, Ma. Herlinda and Ernestina. Antonio was an entrepreneur. He owned convenience stores in Zaragoza Coah.

7: Miguel Villarreal & Ma. Esperanza Villarreal They both were born in Zaragoza Coahuila Mexico. They had five children, Heliodoro,Miguel,Jose Victor,Maria Concepcion and Maria Guadalupe. Miguel Villarreal was dedicated to agriculture and cattle-raising.

9: Jose Victor Villarreal & Maria Herlinda Gonzalez. They were both born in Zaragoza Coahuila, Mexico. They had four children. Maria Herlinda, Jose Victor, Sergio Homero and Saul Rigoberto. Jose Victor was a Lawyer, and he made his career in Piedras Negras Coahuila Mexico. In 1955 he became major of the city of Piedras Negras Coahuila. 11: Gregorio Castaño & Sara Ellen Sumpter | Gregorio Castaño was from Monterrey N.L. Mexico. Sara Sumpter was born in Eagle Pass Tx. ( August 18th of 1900- November 7th, 1976). They got married the 4th of June 0f 1919.They were married only for 3 years. They had just one child, Sara. Gregorio was an investor and also was in the livestock business .

13: Jose de Luna & Juliana Gutierrez | They had six children: Josefa, San Juana, Jose Raul, Julia Isabel, Francisco Ricardo and Ricardo. Jose De Luna was the co-owner of the first convenient stores opened in Piedras Negras. Jose de Luna was born in Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon (December 25th, 1874- May 28th, 1938) Juliana Gutierrez was born in Guerrero, Tamaulipas (December 22nd, 1876- March 18th 1947)

15: Ricardo De Luna & Sara Castano They had seven children: Jose, Ricardo, Raul, Sara, Francisco Javier, Maria Julia and San Juana. | Ricardo De Luna was in the movie theater business for over 40 years. He built and owned 4 movie theaters. He also helped with the administration of some other movie theaters in Piedras Negras Coah. Ricardo de Luna was born in Saltillo Coahuila (September 24th 1914- November 28th, 1995) Sara Castaño was Born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon (March 10th, 1920- March 19th, 2001)

17: Saul R. Villarreal & Ma. Julia De Luna Saul was born in Piedras Negras Coah. (September 14th, 1943 - July 11th, 1983). Maria Julia was born in Eagle Pass Tx.(January 7th 1946) They got married on April 11th 1970 and had one daughter, Maria Julia. Saul was dedicated to his ranch and also helped with the administration of other family ranches.

19: Jose Bernal y Manjerrez & Elisa Escoboza. They were originally from the state of Sinaloa Mexico. They had six children, Lissi, Jose Luis, Fausto, Jorge, Oscar and Celia Rosa.

20: Francisco Castorena & Sofia Camarillo They were from the state of Aguascalientes, Mexico. They had two children, Ignacio and Jose Felix. Francisco Castorena was a farmer. He grew pasilla pepper and corn. He was killed by a rock thrown by a thief who he surprised stealing his crop.

21: Tomas Garcia & Ma. Del Refugio Valdez They were from the state of Aguascalientes, Mexico. They had two children, Antonio and Andrea.

23: Jose Osuna Lafarga & Lissi Bernal Escaboza They both were from the state of Sinaloa in Mexico. They had 5 children, Lissi, Jose Antonio, Laura, Guillermina and Teresa. 27: Benjamin Castorena & Guillermina Osuna Benjamin Castorena was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico (April 17 1931). Guillermina was born in Sinaloa, Mexico (Oct. 6 1939- Feb. 13 2010). They had six children. Benjamin, Guillermo, Alberto, Esteban, Andrea and Sandra Patricia. Benjamin Castorena raised his family in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico were he worked in the bank administration and later started his own business in San Luis Rio Colorado, Son and San Luis, Az.

29: Esteban Castorena & Ma. Julia Villarreal. Esteban Castorena was born in Mexicali, Baja California. Mexico (Nov 21, 1966). Maria Julia was born in Piedras Negras Coah. Mexico (April 19, 1971) They have two children. Paulina and Esteban. Esteban is a software engineer and work as Director of Software Engineering and Services at Jack Henry and Associates, division that provides filing software to banks and credit unions.

30: Raul De Luna Raul de Luna, brother of Ricardo de Luna, built and owned the Bull Ring in Piedras Negras Coah. He named it "Plaza de Toros Raul De Luna Fitsher" after his only son, who died at 21 of Leukemia. 32: Bernardo Gutierrez De Lara. Gutierrez De Lara was the cousin of Nicolas Gutierrez, grandfather of Juliana Gutierrez. He was born on August 20, 1774. Gutierrez De Lara was obsessed by the idea of freeingMexico from Spain, and during the Mexican war of Independence, he was sent by Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla to recruit along the Rio Grande. He began by recruiting and arming twenty men in Texas. Then together with Jose Menchaca, he spoke with the Indians and convinced them to fight with him against the Spanish. He was a strong supporter of the revolutionary movement. He can be considered as the first Mexican diplomat to visit Washington, D.C., On December 10, 1812 he went to the United States House of Representatives to request support for the cause of Mexican independence. He was welcomed with much interest, but the United States government could not offer assistance without jeopardizing relations with Spain. On April 6, 1813 he declared the independence of Texas from the kingdom of Spain, proclaimed the first constitution and declared himself the first president of Texas. Agustin de Iturbide recognized the Gutierrez independence efforts, and in 1824 Gutierrez returned to Revilla, where he was elected governor of Tamaulipas in July, 1824.

33: Jesse Sumpter (Feb. 21st, 1827- Nov.20th, 1910) He was the grandfather of Sara Ellen Sumpter. In 1847 learning that a brother was in the war between the United States and Mexico, he enlisted in the U.S. Army during the war. Ten months after he enlisted the war ended. . During the Civil War he was inspector of customs for the Confederate government. He was a quiet man and enjoyed the friendship and esteem of both Americans and Mexicans. | Sara Ellen Sumpter.
