S: FATHER'S DAY 2012 - We LOVE More, Most, Forever and Ever!

FC: Anyone can be a Father, but it takes someone special to be a DAD.

 25 Rules for Dads

 1. When in doubt, trust your heart. They already do.

2.Save the day! You are their hero. Red cape and blue tights optional.

3.Take the kids camping. Immerse them in the great outdoors. Watch their eyes fill with wonder the first time they see the beauty of wide open spaces.

 4. Take those everyday moments to teach your kids something new.

 5. Dance with your daughter. Start when she's a little girl or even when she's a baby. Don't wait until her wedding day.

 6. Share with your son what you do for a living, and why it's important. How cool for him to be proud of how you make a living and he will want to be as successful as you.

7.They will eagerly await your return home from work in the evenings. Don't be late.

 8. Teach your children to swim. It will give you peace of mind at the pool and ocean, open up a whole new type of playground to enjoy with them, and the chance to take very cool photos.

 9. Introduce your kids to the swings at the local park. They will squeal for you to push them higher and faster. Remember, their definition of “higher and faster” is probably not the same as yours.

 10. Few things in life are more comforting to a crying child than their dad's hand or soft voice. Never forget this.

 11. They are never too old for their dad.

 12. The best gift a dad can give his children is to love their mother. Treat her with respect, honor, and a big heaping spoonful of public displays of affection. When your daughter grows up, the odds are good she'll fall in love with someone who treats her much like you treated her mother. Your son watches everything you do and he'll learn from you how women are to be treated.

13.Take your daughter swimsuit shopping. Don't be afraid to veto some of her choices.

14.Teach your son to ride a bicycle and watch his confidence soar.

 15. Spend time outside.

 16. Let them know they can always come home. No matter what.

 17. Take advantage of every quiet moment together.

 18. Go fishing together and watch their eyes light up when they catch their first fish.

 19. When your teenager is upset, learning when to engage and when to back off will add years to YOUR life.

 20. Remember, life is good!

 21. It is in your son's nature to make music. Be his biggest fan!

 22. Just like a butterfly, your daughter too will spread her wings and fly some day. Enjoy her caterpillar years.

 23. They will always need a shoulder to lean on.

 24. Explore close to home and far away with your kids.

 25. Always be there. Quality time doesn't happen without quantity time. Hang out together for no other reason than just to be in each other's presence. Be genuinely interested in the things that interest them. They both need their dad to be involved in their lives at every stage. Don't just sit by while they add years to their lives... add life to the years.
