FC: Favorite Photos
I discovered a collection of old photos of mom and dad a few years ago in S. Padre. None moved my heart as much as this picture of my dad. Maybe it's a silly car to some...but this picture makes me delight deeply in the memory of my father.
There are many great photos of us together as a family, but I love this picture from the 1964 World's Fair - because 35 years later I moved to Flushing. Lynda and I had many great times roller blading around this globe.
Photos from 32 Ivanhoe Road and 99 Santin Drive leave a pit in my stomach - as I ache for the days when dad was alive...and we were all together. This is Mike's big day - off to school for the first time.
 Mt. Rainier
I long to spend far more time discovering all the great natural wonders in America. My happiest moments, have been my great adventures into the wild. I was blessed to hike up Mt Rainier in 2000 - which was a breath-taking experience. I took this self-portrait near a large mound of spiked rocks. I returned again in 2001, and took another photo in the same location. In 2002 - I returned with Lynda. These three trips were by far the most thrilling adventures of my life...
Though we had just started dating, Lynda joined me for my 20th HS reunion. I was ecstatic about how great she looked! I love this photo - for its elegance.
Taken at a park in Flushing, Queens. Lynda was so much fun to be with. Very down to earth...even in a tree. I love this photo - for its playfulness.
This photo reminds me of Lynda's good spirit. We really enjoy doing activities together. We simply went for a walk around the neighborhood in Woodhaven - but it was a great time!
Ever since taking the picture of Lynda biking in Germany, I love photos of her on a bicycle! We've biked a number of great trails around NJ - but this road was the most scenic. Taken by a little cabin we rented or 2 days near Delaware Water Gap.
Always loved this photo of Lynda in red - with the barren trees and white snow.
This is our first self-portrait - which became a favorite photo habit. | The Eggery
Lynda riding a bike on a trail outside of Volkach. Our trips to Germany were pure relaxation. Going for bike rides, to visit nearby towns, was my favorite adventure. It's not an amazingly great photo - but brings back great memories.
Church near Neuschwanstein Castle in S Germany. I woke up early to take the photos. The grass was long and wet with dew. By the time I was done, I was soaking wet...but I knew I had taken some great shots!
Favorite photos of me from our 2004 trip to Germany
Disappointed to find both locations modernized by 2010!
Venice is such a picturesque, strange land! Took many photos during our visit in 2004.
On Dec 21, 2005 - I started a random conversation with Lynda about how blessed we were to have visited Venice... Three hours later - we were preparing to return! She received a call from Delta - she had to fly there that evening for a reserve trip!
After losing Jamin...it was a gift from God to fly to Aruba to enjoy a vacation. We needed time away - to help us heal.
 Baby Beach, ARUBA
There are many great photos I could have chosen from our cruise to St. Thomas, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and St. Maarten. However, my favorite photos are from Megan's Beach, in St. Thomas, where we spent our honeymoon. Truly the most beautiful beach we've seen!
We visited Rick and Marybeth Holladay in SW Germany and took a little hike. Don't know why we staged this photo - but I simply love it!
Finally visited Paul & Denise Tan in Vegas, just weeks before they moved to NYC. We visited Zion National Park in Utah. Breathless landscapes...I dream of moving out West!
A friend took these nostalgic photos at Waterloo Village. This added more excitement to all we were expecting.
Although taken with my cell phone - I grew to love this photo taken while dining in Sparta. It became my countdown screen saver...
Absolutely crazy about the photos I took of Jacob his second day at the hospital. Retaken at 4 1/2 months.
Stayed at a Bed 'n Breakfast in Ocean City during Memorial Weekend. I took Jacob to the beach alone, as the sun was setting. Totally amazed!
