11: Each year on February 22, World Thinking Day, girls participate in activities and projects with global themes to honor their sister Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in other countries.

13: GIRL SCOUTS CELEBRATE 100TH ANNIVERSARY AT OCEAN CITY Girl Scouts celebrated its 100th anniversary on March 12, 2012 while Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay ring in 50 years. A birthday celebration was held March 9-12, 2012 at the Clarion Resort Hotel on 101st Street where more than 1,200 youth and adults from the Delmarva Peninsula participated in the activities.

34: Girl Scouts Gather on DC Mall for 100th Birthday Girl Scouts from across the country gathered on the National Mall to celebrate the organization's 100th anniversary. Organizers say they expected 200,000 participants for what would be the larges gathering of Girl Scouts in history.
