FC: 50 Years Together... Golden!
50 years ago the courtship of Dennis and Blanche began... and while there are no photos of the blessed event (its a long story), they were married on October 20, 1961. | 1960 - 1961
1962 - 1964 Life changed quickly for the young newlyweds... Kelly Denise was born, Dennis graduated UT and a short time later the twins were born.
1965 Studly and beautiful, Dennis and Blanche enjoyed getting out and about with their girls.
God took Kelly Denise home, but the twins kept the joy alive as the family moved to Georgia.
 1966 - 1967
yada yada need some words here | The family enjoyed their time in Georgia but soon moved back to Knoxville for Dennis's first head coaching job at Catholic High School.
Celebrating the birth and resurrection of our Lord has always been important to the Webb family. | 1968 - 1969
1970 A big year: Blanche graduated from UT and the twins graduated from kindergarten.
1971 - 1972 | After the twins finished first grade, the family said goodbye to Knoxville and hello to Morristown.
The move to Virginia later in 1972 brought the Webb family a whole new world of experiences: duplex living, Pintos, dogs as family members and life as a blonde in a non-blonde world.
love | 1973 - 1974 | It didn't take long before the Webbs were first time homeowners making a difference in their new community.

In the three years in Staunton the family upgraded from a Pinto to a Mustang, survived 'sneaking out', and saw the twins graduate Robert E. Lee and head off to college before the 'empty nesters' moved north to Winchester. | 1980 - 1982 The Staunton Years
Winchester showed them fun times at the 'Summit', but in early 1984 Coach Webb decided to try coaching at Carson Newman in Tennessee. | 1983 - 1984
The Webb family and Mamaw had an amazing (and eventful) trip to Hawaii and still got to spend Christmas with family! | 1985
Dennis and Blanche got a big raise this year as both girls graduated from college and entered the workforce. Dennis guided Carson Newman to the NAIA National Championship and everyone enjoyed the ride. | 1986
1987 The 'raise' was spent the following year as there were two weddings (the Webb family grew by two Michaels) and a move to Crossville.
Grandparents! Dennis and Blanche were thrilled to welcome their first grandchild, Nicole, even though she was born on a football Friday. | 1988
1989 Blanche enjoyed her principal duties in Crossville and everyone learned about life with a 1-yr old... the new puppy was the good memory from the chicken pox trip to Townsend.
Bryan (red-headed grandchild #2) was born and even though life in Crossville was good, the grandchildren were what made everything better. | ~ 1990 ~
The first Tinsley granddaughter, Kelly, was born and there were a few birthdays celebrated this year (including Dennis' 50th!). | 1991
~ 1992 ~ | The family enjoyed special times together and were comforted by sweet memories when Blanche's mom passed away this year. Dennis and Blanche also said goodbye to Crossville and headed up the road to Damascus.
Blanche celebrated her 50th birthday; Sara and Christopher, the last two grandbabies, were born; and 'Nana' started a new tradition. | 1993
Playing with the grandkids became the favorite pasttime. | 1994
and there were many lazy days spent on the lake, but the big event of 1995 was moving to 'the farm'. | 1995 Lots of fun times were had in Damascus - the house downtown held lots of memories...
A trip to Atlanta to watch the 1996 Olympics and spending time on the farm and with family were highlights of the year. | 1996 - 1997
Dennis retired from coaching... and after careful consideration, moved into farm management. | 1998
Fun times on the farm were had by all as Dennis and Blanche learned all about tractors, bonfires, water sports, wild animals and four-wheelers. | 1998 - 1999 | 1999
2000 | The new millenium came and spending time with family kept everyone happy and entertained.
Dennis turned 60 this year and everyone enjoyed the celebration and just hanging out with him and learning new things. | ~ 2001 ~
2002 | R.A.D. certification gave the Webbs a new side job but there was still time for family gatherings and family traditions.
~ 2003 ~ | Blanche celebrated her 60th birthday in style and the Webbs enjoyed watching the next generation of football. Dennis was comforted knowing his father was starting his eternity in Heaven.
New adventures, like para-sailing... new traditions, for 16th birthdays... new ways to spend lazy days... but still the same beautiful couple. | 2004
The grandkids and Trail ruled the farm but roadtrips south were all about all-star performances. | ~ 2005 ~
Dennis and Blanche were proud of Nicole (and all the grandkids loved the new high school graduation tradition) and the family enjoyed genetics classes at the annual beach trip. | ~ 2006 ~
A year including first time trips (Charleston and the Masters), never dull family times and a special good-bye to Granny. | ~ 2007 ~
Another Masters trip, another high school graduation, another beach trip... and yet they still are the same beautiful couple! | 2008
2009 The Webb family had a fun trip to Disney World with the twins, Kelly graduated high school and football games were still a weekly event.
Nicole was the first college graduate (and another new tradition was started) and college life was enjoyed by all. | 2010
~ 2011 ~ | Sara graduated and the last grandchild, Chris, started his senior year. Dennis and Blanche started on their bucket list with a trip to the Grand Canyon, including a side trip so they could 'stand on the corner', but they're still saving money to keep the 'traditions' alive...
50 years later and Dennis and Blanche have proven that "MTYLTT" isn't just a password, it's a way of life! HAPPY 50th ANNIVERSARY!!!
