FC: The Wilson Family Album January - June 2007
1: The new year at Eisenhower Park | We were joined by Milo and Ozmo.
2: Ruth got stuck in the chair. | Lovin' the mohawk!
4: John, our only baby born close to Christmas, was able to model his special stocking, made by Grandma Jeanne.
6: Elijah turns six!
8: Army Party!
9: Elijah invited Emma, Matthew, Armanie, Gabrielle and Lucien to come and celebrate. They had a chance to put on camo face paint, compete in an obstacle course, try to knock over cans with a rubberband gun and look for soldiers hidden in the grass.
11: Bath time in the kitchen sink with Daddy.
12: John has play time with the activity gym and pushing up. | Ruth dresses up as a princess and Luke sometimes dances with her.
13: John loves his thumb!
17: Little League Opening Ceremonies Elijah and Luke played on the Nationals in the T-ball division
18: John's first cereal
19: Daddy loves to take lots of pictures while bathing John. Baths at the kitchen sink are there special time together.
20: We invited all the grandparents and local aunts, uncles and cousins to come to a BBQ in our back yard. Luke received some Lego sets. | Luke's 5th Birthday!
21: Elijah, Luke and Ruth had fun building a wall with the pillows. This was actually a Grow Group task: build a wall like Nehemiah.
22: We went to the San Diego Zoo for Luke's birthday. The day was a little misty so we were bundled up some of the time. We saw lots of animals and met a girl that was wearing the same shirt as Ruth.
25: Brian hosted a Coast Guard tour for a local cub scout troop and he invited Pete, Elijah and Luke to come along.
27: The Black Pearl was docked in the Long Beach Harbor. Brian sailed close enough for Pete to get some good pictures.
28: Play group at the Fullerton Arboretum | We had a nature walk and an Easter egg hunt.
29: John graduates to baths in the bath tub.
30: Mommies need to feed their babies. | Pete wanted to protect John from the sun. What a contraption! | Luke and Elijah enjoy dressing up in "camo" while Ruth loves to wear her shiny dresses.
31: At four months of age, John seemed to suffer an allergic reaction to Enfamil formula. Grammy was babysitting him and gave him his very first bottle. He proceeded to vomit and have trouble breathing. She and Aunt Brandi rushed him to the E.R. | Doctors in the E.R. treated him with ibuterol and his breathing eventually stabilized. When I arrived, he was very raspy.
32: Co-Op Pre-School I taught a lesson on bugs and had the students release lady bugs onto the roses in our front yard. Ruth participated with Ashley, Danika and Luke.
33: Pete had some fun manipulating the bath shot of John to look like he was swimming under water.
35: We planned to go to Disneyland when Bob McGuire could sign us in. Going there for free was an answer to prayer. Even though the forecast was rain, we still went. I left in the middle of the day to give Grammy milk to feed to John. She baby sat him so we could go with the big kids.
36: After a long day we decided to eat dinner at Ariel's Grotto. It was like a reward for Ruth, who wasn't tall enough to go on the rides Elijah and Luke got to enjoy. After dinner we watched the Electric Parade.
38: Pete had a date with Ruth which consisted of painting her nails and taking lots of pictures. Then he put the pictures into a slide show and burned a DVD. We have watched it many times.
40: John has his first taste of peas. Does he like it?
41: Pushing up, rolling around and beginning to crawl all over the place.
42: The Washington Nationals T-Ball
44: Mother's Day 2007 This year we remembered to take a picture of me with the kids. We aim to make it a tradition.
45: UCF Reunion at Goleta Beach We took a trip up to Santa Barbara to visit some college friends. We stayed at the Pearlman home.
46: Elijah. Luke and Ruth had lots of play time with J.J., Charlie and Ruby. They enjoyed pushing each other around in the car, eating loquats and sitting very close together in front of the T.V.

48: Bug event at the Orange Public Library
49: John is busy pulling up on anything he can get to.
51: The Curtis' Visit the O.C. We all met for dinner at the Gillen's home to hang out, catch up, and have the kids play together.

53: Father's Day 2007
54: We told the kids we would keep her as long as no one was allergic. They named her Scampers. | Pete brought home a kitty!
55: Girls Night for our Grow Group (but Lucien came to play with Elijah and Luke) | We planned to have Lola do manicures for the girls. Then Raquel offered to massage faces and feet.
56: The Contreras Family visited our home while here on furlough. They are missionaries to university students in Argentina. | Our kids thought it was a great adventure to sleep together downstairs while Gilbert, Virginia and Sofia used the rooms upstairs.
57: John has a photo shoot with Daddy.
58: John likes to pull up in his crib. | Scampers likes to play with John.
