71: Happy Birthday! | Happy Birthday, L.G.! Thanks so much for helping to provide so many of the wonderful memories that I share with Todd and the rest of the guys. I could start to write a book, but my version would probably end up with an NC-17 rating or whatever the equivalent rating is in the literary world. . . and writing the book is David's job anyway. All my best to you and yours, Cole | On this, your very own special day, we wish you all the best today and many more. One of the many great things we can say about you over the past twenty years is that you have been a devoted father and friend. For that friendship we pray for your continued health and happiness in whatever tomorrow brings. Love, Ross and JoAnn
72: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY FRIEND!!!! Where can I begin, as our friendship has lasted over 55 plus years. Lonnie and Barney and I became friends in high school in the 50s, and we have truly been through thick and thin, with many tales too colorful to put on paper, and the true stories that only Lonnie can tell to make everyone burst into belly laughs. Lonnie has always been the most generous, loving soul I know to both his family and his friends. * They named their dog BG, after he peed in my shoe; * Lonnie was discharged from the Air Force, because of the hardship of "too many kids"; * Needing cash in the middle of the night for a "free get out of jail" card -- sorry, not sharing any more details; * Spying on the University of Texas -- again, shhh on the details; * Lonnie's Studebaker that could only keep the hood down with bailing wire, but he said, "don't laugh, it's paid for." We love you, Lonnie!!!! Happy Birthday!!!! Linda and "Bobbie"
73: Memories | Happy Birthday, Lonnie If I wasn't absolutely certain that you could still kick my ass, I would make an "Old Guy" joke! Thanks for being such an important figure in Todd's life, and thus the same for all of his friends. Holland Smith | Lonnie, You are such an inspiration to others -- throughout the years you've shown incredible strength and courage and have inspired us all by your example. Phil & Lois Stanley | Jeff here, wishing you a happy birthday, Mr. Williams. You are only as old as your action and ability are perceived!! And from what I see that would make you a wise, young man with passion!... It is what it is! Jeff Gooden
