S: Happy Mothers Day 2011
BC: Happy Mothers Day
FC: God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers.
1: The days and the months and the years moved on, and one day the mother looked up and said oh my how you have grown!" "Yes", said the daughter very pleased with herself. "From you mother I learned to stand as tall as I can stand. - Carol Lyn Pearson
5: A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. -Washington Irving
11: Mom, It is really hard for me to put into words how much you mean to me. I am so very thankful to have you as such a big part of my life. Even though we live so close, it is very hard for me to go even one day without seeing or talking to you. You are not only a wonderful, loving and supportive Mother, but a cheerleader, confidante, and best friend to me. You have taught me so much and have been and continue to be a great example to me of unconditional love, patience, kindness, hard work, love for learning and study, and righteousness. I know our Heavenly Father is so pleased to have you as His daughter and for the wonderful job you have done as a mother. I know it is hard for you to believe that sometimes, but I know it is true. You have done your very best and that is all He asks of us. You have taught us what we need to know to return to our Heavenly Father and now we have to find our way back to Him on our own. But, the promised blessings for your faithfulness will help us all be together again. I am also so thankful that my children have such a close relationship with you. Your influence and love is such a great blessing in their lives. Their love for you shines in their faces and I know some of their most fond childhood memories will be of time spent with you. Expressing my feelings is not a strength of mine, but I hope you know how much I love and appreciate you and all you have done for me and will be forever grateful that I was chosen to be your daughter. Thank you so much and I love you!! Melissa
12: You painted no Madonnas on chapel walls in Rome But with a touch divine you lived one in your home You wrote no lofty poems that critics counted art But with a nobler vision you lived them in your heart You carved no shapeless marble into some high soul design But with a finer sculpture you shaped this soul of mine You built no great cathedrals that centuries applaud But with a grace exquisite your life cathedraled God -Frances Johansan
17: To the most amazing Mother a boy could ask for, When I think back through the years and wonder if there was anything else I could have done, anything that I might have left out, ANY OTHER POSSIBLE WAY???.......To have annoyed you, teased you, tested you, questioned you, or just simply have been more of a pain??? I think not. Trust me, I should know. I consider myself sort of an "expert" on the subject. In my attempts to understand how you inexplicably survived, I mentally stumbled upon the answer. Superpowers. To my disappointment, (after searching your dresser drawers and finding no trace of a cape), I have finally come to my conclusion: EXCESSIVE COURAGE AND COMPASSION. Some examples may help me to explain: 1. Only a Mother of the highest caliber could have possessed the COURAGE to look me, CJ, right in the eye for at least 20 years and say, "Yes son, that haircut does look good on you!" 2. No other Mother in the history of Mothers has had so much COMPASSION for her oldest child, that she intentionally had two more daughters, in an obvious attempt to distract my attention, while simultaneously redistributing the balance of power and giving Melissa a break! "Look Miss! Neat Miss! Hey Miss! Neat Miss!...." To the best Mom in the world, When it comes to Moms you take the cake. No other Mom could ever compare. By 100 miles you win the Mom race! Words can’t express how much I love you, Mom, So instead I will sound it out! Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii wwwwwwuuuuuuuuuuuuuu yyyyyyyyyoooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
23: Mom, I just want to let you know how much I appreciate you and everything you do for me! Not only are you there to listen to what ever I have to say but I always know there is a prayer out there for Belle and I. You are such a wonderful mother. No one else could have me as a daughter and say they made it through! I will also never forget how fun you made everything when is was a little. If I was not participating in an activity you always pushed me to go and have fun, and also to always include EVERYONE. I still try and do that to this day. Thank you for helping me be the best me I can! I Love you and hope to be more like you as a mother, Katy
27: Beth's text | Mom, I love you so much! You are like a rock for me. You keep me grounded and together when I feel otherwise. I know that I can always count on you for guidance, love, and prayers. You are creative, smart, and beautiful inside and out. Since I was a big ball of energy as a child not only did you put up with me, you have helped me to learn how to overcome trials and make the best of life. Even though I am not always the easiest person to deal with I have always felt your love, and for that I am eternally grateful. I love you mom, Beth
29: Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body. -Elizabeth Stone
