1: Our little boy is growing. In 2007, we left you with the story of Mark Douglas' first 3 years. We continue his journey with this book to his current age of 6 in 2010.
3: Halloween activities at the local Methodist Church for a Lord of the Harvest event. I went as the scary green Stegosaurus. | TRICK OR TREAT
4: TEACHING | Helping daddy work outdoors is a favorite pastime of mine. I enjoy playing outdoors and swimming in the pool.
5: Train up a child in the way he should go.
6: Son, this is how we build a concrete pad.
7: So many things to learn, like building a concrete pad, mowing the yard and teaching my dad to ski, read and play marbles. | L | O | V | E
9: I enjoy traveling to Questa, NM to visit Grandpa Bill and Grandma Sharon. They always have fun and exciting things to do at their place.
10: Celebrating Easter in the cold San Juan Mtns. at Granpa Bill and Grandma Sharons'. It was fun.

13: On our way to get some Mountain air. We stopped by to see the natural spring "Blue Hole: in Santa Rosa, NM. We also traveled to Dallas for a family wedding and visited the Dallas Aquarium.
15: I love trains. So for Halloween, I dressed as "Mark Douglas the Famous Train Engineer". Aunt Joy and Uncle Mark loved my costume. Mommy & Daddy did too. | TRICK OR TREAT | 2008

18: C | h | r | i | s | m | a | s | I was a good boy all year. So, Santa Claus brought me a toy Steam Locomotive. I hope some day I get to ride on a real steam engine train.

23: A cold 2009 Easter Day. We celebrated the Easter Egg Hunt with my good friend Luke and nieces Avery and Jaida. | 2009
24: For our summer vacation, we drove to Durango, Colorado to take a train ride on the Durango/Silverton narrow gage railroad. We traveled through the San Juan Mountains to the old mining community Silverton, Colorado. It was a spectacular ride with beautiful scenic views that cannot be seen from any highway. To our amazement, we found a "Pinkerton" rail car used for carrying passengers through the mountains. We were quite surprised to see our name on the car.

35: We celebrated at the Rock-N-Roll Soda Shop. After eating the cake and opening my presents, all my friends went swimming at the WT indoor pool. It was the best birthday party EVER!!

40: I enjoy decorating my Easter Eggs so Mommy and Daddy can hide them. I love hunting for Easter Eggs. I especially like eating the chocolate candies.

42: KIDS INC. SOCCER One of Mark Douglas' favorite sports is playing outdoor soccer. He learned basic techniques and scored a couple of winning games. We are so proud of our little athlete.

48: OUT OF PRE-SCHOOL & INTO KINDERGARTEN Leaving Montessori Day School was very hard for both me and my mommy. The teachers in the school did an amazing job preparing me for kindergarten.

56: CAREER DAY | When I grow up, I want to be a Sheriff because he keeps the peace and enforces the law. For Thanksgiving, I learned about the Indian Culture. I also learned about the environment; making an eco-friendly gingerbread- man with an orange peel hat, kisses for eyes, batteries for buttons, leaves for pants, beans, morsels and walnuts for cuffs and sleeves. | KINDERGARTEN

59: Mrs. Fangman. Mark Douglas' kindergarten teacher paid him a nice Birthday Surprise. That was so sweet of her to celebrate his birthday. We think he is her favorite student.

61: Aunt Joy joined me to celebrate my school Christmas Party. She made my day. Mommy and Daddy are so blessed to have Aunt Joy close by. She helps them when they are unable to attend my school functions. I sure am going to miss her. Ms. Fangman is my favorite teacher.
