FC: My Sister, My Friend
God's Grace made us sisters, This much I know is true. The love our parents gave us, Formed a bond as we grew.
The memories of our brother Mark, We hold deep within our hearts. It's our love for one another, We were given from the start.
The memories of our summers, Are filled with lots of fun.
Playing school and swimming, Building cabins in the sun.
Lazy days and picnics, Pity-pat under a tree.
Riding bikes and mud pies, Are memories dear to me.
We picked pecans and berries, | And hopscotched on the street.
Selling homemade sno-balls, that tasted oh so sweet!
The canal and Pop's pasture, Were places we would play. | Mom and Dad could find us here, Each and every day.
We swung from ropes and crawfished, In the canal near our home. Playing cards and board games, On days we could not roam.
Mazes made from autumn leaves, Kickball in the yard. Peewee houses and paper dolls, Were made from old cardboard.
When the street lights came on, Day turned into night. But our fun didn't stop here, We played the game spot light.
At times we had our sister fights, Including pulling hair.
But the many years of laughter, is what we'll always share.
God's Grace made us sisters, A bond that'll never end. I'm thankful you're my sister, But more so my best friend!
 With all my love, Lisa
