Hey little guys! Meet McVicker & McVicker. They invented a compound that helps you learn quicker.
It’s gooey and stretchy and let’s you make shapes. | It’s gooey and stretchy and let’s you make shapes. | If you’re creative enough, you can make a car or an ape!
What is this amazing invention? I’ll tell you. It’s the Playdoh you make using flour, food coloring, and glue.
One day McVicker & McVicker were strolling. They admired all the flowers, grass, and trees growing.
They loved to play in the mud and sand. And they loved to create things with their hands. When they got home that day, their mother was mad. “No more playing in the mud!” Mother said. And that made them really sad. So the boys got together and thought and thought. “What can we do to stop the boredom that Mom has brought?”
On one fateful day in 1956 The two boys ran to each other and screamed “I’ve got it!” They both had this idea to make an item that didn’t create a mess. Something fun, clean, and nontoxic that wouldn’t cause Mom any stress.
They went to the kitchen and cooked up a recipe. McVicker 1’s creation was too slimy. But McVicker 2’s creation was too hefty.
So they mixed and matched ingredients until they got it right. Finally they made something pully, sticky, and bright. | They named it Play Doh and it helps kids like you everyday. It makes you think really hard even though it seems like just play.
The smartest of the smart played with Play Doh just like you do. Artists, architects, and mechanics all played with it in preschool. Play Doh helps expand creativity and makes working with your hands seem cool. You can play with in anywhere like in the car, at home, or by a pool.
It might not seem all that special, but really it is. It helps to better develop the mind and motor skills of kids. It helps them stay alert and pay close attention to detail And later on in life allows them to do their jobs very well.
So that is the story of one of your favorite toys and how it makes you better. Bye bye my friends and remember playing isn’t just fun, it also makes you more clever.
