Stephen developed a good relationship with his god father through social media and fantasy football, yet they had not seen each other since Stephen was baptized at six weeks old. So, we packed up the car and drove to Northern Ohio and had a wonderful time reacquainting the godfather and son and getting to meet all of the Wofford boys (Nathan, Brady, Keegan and Camden) for the first time!

Walleye fishing with Brian and Nathan was the highlight of the trip. We also enjoyed family time at the Cleveland MetroParks Zoo, family room wrestling and corn hole in Mentor. Stephen and April enjoyed the Great Lakes Science Center and Judy and Stephen especially enjoyed riding some of the fastest, highest most celebrated roller coasters at America's "Roller Coast" on Lake Erie.

20: Cramerton Middle School 7th Grade | April was inducted into the Junior Beta Club at the end of her 6th grade year this spring. Her standardized test scores (all falling well above the 95th percentile) garnered an invitation to the Duke Talent Identification program and she's scheduled to take the SAT in January. She continues to excel in school, and has been named to the A or A/B honor roll every quarter since she started at CMS.

21: South Point High School 9th Grade | Stephen began his Freshman year of high school in mid-August with two weeks of horn line and full band camp (respectively). A Cadet Chief Master Sergeant when this school photo was taken, he continues to perform at the top of his class. Two thirds of the way through his first semester he is currently achieving a X.XX Weighted (X.XX unweighted) grade point average and has a schedule that includes English 9 AP Prep and Geometry HN.

23: South Point High School The Pride of the Tribe | With powerful sound and over 80 drill sets, the Pride's "Arabia" astounded judges in competition. Winning every competition but one, South Point High School's marching band had an amazing season! | The Pride of the Tribe set the tone for the 2012 Red Raider football season. Keeping the "12th" man in the game, the Pride played every Friday night, both home and away. SPHS made it to the third round of the NCHSAA 3A State Playoffs eventually finishing 14-1 on the season. | Stephen thoroughly enjoyed his time with the SPHS Marching Band! He had wonderful directors and made awesome new friends. He hopes they will join him when his class opens the new Stuart Cramer High School in the fall of 2013.

29: Paris, France | In 2012, April had the opportunity to take the trip of a lifetime. Accompanying Josh and Cynthia Davis to their family's home in France, she and Andy Hansen joined the Davis' for a European "Cheer"- cation for 10 days over Thanksgiving. | Josh, Andy and April spent quality time with the athletes of Cheer Excess in Paris, France. They choreographed part of their routine and ran tumbling camps. Their friends at CEX we're incredibly welcoming and even hosted a Thanksgiving dinner! | Josh, a native French speaker, instituted "tough love language immersion" for April, speaking to her (and expecting in return) conversation only in French on one of the days. Josh was astounded at the progress she made speaking Parisian French!

30: We were able to keep up with many of the sights and events on their 10 day trip over social media. Through Facebook posts, messages and pictures posted to Instagram from Josh, April, Cynthia and Andy we got regular updates of our "French Fry's" European experience! | Since the Davis's frequently visit Paris, they were fabulous tour guides! The group went EVERYWHERE in the 10 days they were there, including some of April's favorites like the Louvre, The Eiffel Tower, the Palace at Versailles and Parisian shopping! | "April Moore made the transformation today. Seeing her click around the quartier in heels and a dress almost had me convinced she was from here. To look like you're from here, you gotta get your clothes from here and Les Galleries Lafayette is where you go. She's speaking the language and coming into Parisian chic. Y'all better find her a study abroad program." | Joshua Scott Davis Posted to Facebook, November 23, 2012 near Boulogne, Ile-de-France
