30: Dear Mr. Snyder CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR RETIREMENT! It was a pleasure having you involved with Special Olympics and I enjoyed the dinners and conversations with you when I spoke at functions as a Global Messenger. My experience with Special Olympics has been and will continue to be a big part of my life. I have experienced some wonderful times and memorable ones such as the World Games in Dublin, Ireland and the National Games in Lincoln, Neb. I have met so many people and made many new friends. I was given the opportunity to compete with many teams and learn from each athlete whether we won or lost. I always remember the oath: Let Me Win But If I Cannot Win Let Me Be Brave In The Attempt. Being a Global Messenger has helped me spread the importance of what Special Olympics means to the Athletes. Because of you and your many years of being involved with Special Olympics, it has been a wonderful success. I would like to say "Thank You" for your hard work and dedication for so many years with Special Olympics. You will be missed very much. Scott Wells Global Messenger/Athlete Area 7 | Scott Wells
