5: We visited Carthage Jail and saw where Joseph and Hyrum Smith were martyred. We saw the bullet holes in the door and the window whereJoseph fell to his death. It was a spiritual experience.

8: PIONEER TREK
9: We did the three mile Pioneer trek it was very eye opening. We had to go over tree branches, through mud and it was hot, but nothing like what the pioneers had to endure. | BEFORE | AFTER
10: Ed playing stick pull with Josh. He even used one hand to make it easier, but Josh still lost.
11: Pioneer times before the Nauvoo Pageant started was really fun. The kids had fun playing different games and making crafts that would have been played and made back in pioneer days. The Nauvoo Pageant was so amazing, what great talent was shared, and the spirit was felt by all.
12: We loved being together as a family. We saw lots of things and enjoyed the history of the church in Nauvoo. | Women's Garden, was beautiful and had statues of women in the many roles that a woman plays.

15: We saw a lot of things in Nauvoo, how the Pioneers made brick, twine, bread, boots and horseshoes. We also saw some plays, took carriage rides and visited the gun shop. We also saw where Joseph, Hyrum and Emma were buried.
