FC: Its so hard | to say goodbye

 Vicki Howard

To the other Mrs. Ghee, Its people like you who make work a nicer place to be. So many times one of your smiles brightened my day, talking with you made a problem seem smaller, or your laughter lifted my spirits. You're someone I'm really glad to have worked with and someone I will miss very much. K4 or even better, RBS will never be the same. God's best for you is yet to come! Love ya, Gracie "GG"

God loves you and so do I; and there's nothing you can do about it. Mrs. Kelly

Mrs, Howard, Thank you for always having what I needed and for giving me what I didn't know I needed. You are loved and will be missed greatly. In His Abundant Love, Tonya Carroll

I pray God's best for you and your family. Love you much, Mrs. Washington | My favorite memory of Mrs. Howard and her classes (since I was right across the hall) was listening to them recite "The Wise Old Owl"! Love, Mrs. Spangler

My fondest memory of my friend Vicki was the smile that lit up her face when she would have a story to tell about her granddaughter, Hannah. It is when someone loves that hard-- other are able to see the love of God in their eyes ~Charlotte Bard~

Vicki was always willing to help me, when I opened the door and asked for her help with the computer and /or active board, which was frequent. Thanks, Vicki, now what will I do? ~Debbie Cross~

I always remember Vicki as being very dedicated and always in her room. Even when I entered the building in the middle of summer, during the hurricane, or a no school day. I always see her busy in her room. ~Holly Hinton~ | Vicki, It has been a wonderful 14 years getting to know you. You are my "Go- To-Girl". Almost anything that I needed I knew where to come and you would have it! Continue to trust God as you transition to Florida. I will you very much. Thanks for the memories! Love, B. Reed Psalm 103

Dear Mrs. Howard, I will miss you and your K$ class coming to Computer every Thursday. I wish you God's blessings now and in the future. ~Kendra Simon~ | Mrs. Howard, It has been a sincere joy to have known you these past years. I will always remember you as the one to go to when I needed something (books, band-aids, etc) May God bless you and your family in all you do. You will be missed. Lovingly, Kristi Clark

New Friends! | It is has been wonderful to see a teacher dedicated to her students. She was always here over the summer or on days off working diligently! She has always had a friendly face and been there if questions needed answered or there were any supplies missing. ~Krystal Brenneman~

Well anytime I see or hear “Beatrix Potter” or anything about Peter Rabbit, my immediate thought goes to Mrs. Howard. She loves Miss Potter and her furry friends! Even though I was unexpectedly placed in K4 a few years ago, and it was quite a traumatic transition for me, I did enjoy my time working with Mrs. Howard and being her assistant helping to break the unbreakable child J. But my memories of Mrs. Howard go way back to when the Howards first came to Riverdale. The Howards have been in my life since I was 8 years old, so when I think of Mrs. Howard, I not only think of a co-worker, or a friend, but I think of her as another mother to me because she’s always been there no matter what. I think of the first time I spent the night at the Howards house with Krystle and I watched “Pocahontas” for the first time and we played the game of LIFE. I didn’t want to leave! Years later, my family had no electricity in our house, and without hesitation, Mrs. Howard told me to come spend the night because they had electricity, and I could shower there and eat. I will always appreciate those moments, and most importantly her. She is easy to talk to, will do anything for you, and is a loveable and loving woman. Mrs. Howard will be greatly missed, but I am excited for her and her family as they settle in their long awaited Florida home. Thank you Mrs. Howard for always being a blessing to me and my family, and I will be visiting you guys soon! ~ Amber

My Mental pictures of Vicki: Most recently, the dedicated Grandma! For years: my partner in the use of her room for 4-year-old Sunday School! When I would find the back door of the office locked: here came Vicki through the school back door with the key! Always in control of the seating arrangement for her class at Library Time! ~Library Lady~

Mrs. Howard, You have been an inspiration to me. I am going to miss you in more ways than you know. Thank you for always having what I needed. God bless you and your family as you begin your new journey. Love, Mrs. Dowtin | I am going to remember Mrs. Howard from our staff devotion times. The one that I can call anytime of the day or night to laugh, cry, pray or just chat (about us or others, LOL). I love you and have been missing you for a while now!! Yvonne Anderson

Every morning, no matter what else was happening- late teacher, absent teachers, unruly parents, sick children - I knew Vicki would be in her room, on time, prepared and ready for the day. She always had her paper work turned in on time and if something needed to be done she made sure it was done Indispensable- Vicki has been indispensable to me and to our team. She is very dependable and always willing to help where needed. You always knew that if you asked Vicki to do something it would be done quickly and done well. Conscientious- Vicki has always been a team player. She takes her work seriously and always strives to do her very best and to go the extra steps.
