FC: PORTFOLIO | By Ronald Dahl

When James was a seven year old boy he lived with his mother and father. But one day a rhino ate his parents in only one gulp.

After his mother and father had been swallowed by the rhino, James was forced to work hard around the house and live with his two horrid aunts, Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker.

Then one day, James met a magic man who showed James a bag of little green things. The little green things got loose and began to grow a peach on an old tree that never had as much as a blossom on it. Then the peach began to grow larger and larger.

As soon as Spiker and Sponge found out about the giant peach, they decided to Keep it all to themselves. Later that night, James was working hard as usual. He took one big piece of the peach and ate it. Then he started hearing voices and entered the peach. Soon he found out that it was a ladybug, a grasshopper, a spider, an earthworm, a glow worm, and a centipede.

All the bugs explained that they've always wanted adventure. Then Spiker and Sponge began to search for James. Soon the peach rolled all the way from the house and landed right in the middle of the ocean. The very next morning James received the travel book his father gave him, and they knew the peach was taking them to New York City.
