7: Miranda & Brian chose to tell everyone on Christmas Eve at Joy's house, that they are expecting their first baby. They handed out envelopes to everyone, (ours is on the left page), with a poem to let them know the good news. I read to about the fourth line and it hit me and I jumped up and loudly asked, "ARE YOU PREGNANT?!" They could not have picked a better way to break the news. They also gave me the gift of a onesie with the words..."What happens at Grandma' stays at Grandma's". We are sooooo thrilled!
8: The Adams Family Christmas Party 2010 | This was another fun year. Todd & Christine expecting their firstbaby in February2011, Bud was out of the hospital the day before and able to come visit. 24: 2008 | Brian & Miranda announced their engagement Tim & Kim's dog Allie, fell in love with Larry
26: Cousins | 2008
31: this was our last Christmas with Grandpa Burke and Georgie
32: At Grandma & Grandpa Adams house, Miranda & I played a skit where I put on a super large shirt and she got under it behind me with her arms through the sleeves in front and she put make-up on my face while I narrated about how important "blending" was to make-up application! We received a few chuckles, which was the goal.
37: Our Christmas Day tradition always started on Christmas morning as soon as the boys arrived from their mother's house, Miranda, Larry & I could hardly wait for them to get here! We would start in the kitchen with the stockings while having juice and apple turnovers, then move to the family room to open our gifts. As soon as everyone was done playing with their new toys, we would load up for the trip over to Grandma & Grandpa Murrey's house for the rest of the day. And there we would be joined by Jeff, Kelly & Abby. I have to say, that Larry, Miranda and the boys are pretty awesome at finding the most thoughtful and useful gifts a person could hope to receive. It's as though they really pay attention all year long to what one expresses interest in and needs.
