2: The Indiana Jones Ride had a somewhat short line and it was Cameron's choice so we took our chances. It was our second ride of the day. As we neared the boarding area the lights suddenly came on and we were stuck waiting to see what would happen. We were soon turned away but given a Fast Pass for any time during the day which made us happy. | on the stairs awaiting | The markings by the two drinking fountains read "Only one spring will restore youth and vigor. 8: In the attic scene, only three names are marked naughty on the list: Tim (ostensibly a reference to Tim Burton), Leota, and Vincent (from the short film of the same name, and Vincent Price, famous horror actor and friend of Tim Burton. He also provided the original Phantom Manor narration).
10: The mysterious golden spike just inside Cinderella's castle. It has been reportedly said to be the 'center' of Disneyland but is probably the survey marker for a straight line through Main Street U.S.A. | According to our driver, Walt Disney used to drive that very Fire Engine himself. ----->

12: Pixie Hollow | Pixie Hollow opened at Disneyland in 2008. | There are over 100 animatronic on the Splash Mountain ride.
13: Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was not running while we were there this year, not was the Astro Orbiter. | Splash Mountain | Me. Toad's Wild Ride is one of the few remaining attractions that was operational on the park's opening day in 1955.
16: Picnic Lunch for World of Color comes with a fancy boxed lunch, a World of Color Fastpass and a World of Color bag. | with an interesting resident of California Adventure | After months of rodent infestation, Disneyland finally sought to check the rodent population by natural selection. They brought in cats to hunt them down. Wild cats still roam the park to this day, appearing late at night and early in the mornings, wisely hiding from the public during business hours.
17: More than 1,000 jets of water form incredible shapes in time to the music as Disney characters come to life on a shimmering veil of mist. | World of Color opened this year. 2010

20: We looked for Ernest McLean "Ernie" playing guitar but we could not find him. Ernie was the last 'cast member' to be hired by Walt Disney himself.
21: Standing Next to the Club 33 Door | Blue Bayou Lunch on the water. | About every 15 seconds one can see a shooting star in the sky over the Blue Bayou. | When you wish upon a star... | Waiting for a table.
24: Sitting and holding hands OK. No dancing all around. | Tower of Terror opened at California Adventure in May of 2004 nearly 10 years after the one in Florida in 1994. The uniforms worn by the cast members who work on this ride cost over $1000 per costume, the most expensive costume worn by any ride operators at Disneyalnd.
25: The Dapper Dans | Main Street U.S.A. | The names painted in the windows on Main Street serve as credits for some of the many people, Imagineers and others, who contributed in some way to the creation of Disneyland. Largely they appear as fictional businesses and they often refer to a hobby or interest that the person honored. | The Dapper Dans rode with us up Main Street on one of the street vehicles and sang all the way to the Castle. We later watched them at the Firehouse.
26: We saw the Lincoln show for the first time.
28: Goofy's Kitchen
29: Monorail ride from Disneyland to Downtown Disney and a short walk to the Disneyland Hotel and Goofy's Kitchen. Very nice buffet style dinner. Not as many characters as Minnie's Breakfast, but definitely worth it.
30: Tomorrow can be a wonderful age. Our scientists today are opening the doors of the Space Age to achievements that will benefit our children and generations to come. The Tomorrowland attractions have been designed to give you an opportunity to participate in adventures that are a living blueprint of our future. -Walt Disney-

38: The Golden Horseshoe Billy Hill & The Hillbillies They perform 5 days a week inside the Golden Horseshoe as of 2010. They have been performing at Disneyland since 1986.
39: This year we sat in the balcony. There was a HUGE line for food even though we arrived 30 minutes early. One of the longest lines we had to wait in!
42: Waiting For the Aladdin play to open it's doors. Thankfully we made use of our V.I.P. seating for this event. A great show!
