2: 2010 was a big year for us. Stephen had a senior recital, graduated from BYU and we left Utah--our home for the last 2 years. We spent the summer in Virginia, where Stephen performed with Wolf Trap Opera Company and ended it in Michigan for a Smith Family Reunion. | After visiting Michigan, we moved to Indiana, where Stephen began his Master's in Vocal Performance at Indiana University. He kept busy with classes and opera performances, while I worked at IU. At the close of the year, we flew out to California for a Pace Family Reunion to celebrate Christmas. | Family Reunion.
3: January - February 2010 We made fortune cookies for both our Dad's birthdays. We celebrated V-Day with a heart shaped pizza. Stephen gave me homemade roses. I gave him a heart shaped box with a little Stephen & Kristen inside!
4: March 17, 2010 Stephen's Senior Recital Family in attendance: Mom Smith, Gma Jensen, JilliAnne, Aunt Wendy, Kara, Helen, Julia, Mom & Dad Pace, Benjamin, Daniel, Julianna, Jonathan, Bonnie, Gma Pace, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Merlin, Michelle, Maren, Michael
6: March 2010 We had a lot of family in town for Stephen's recital. We ate out with Mom Smith and Gma Jensen. I made a warm fleece blanket with them too. | We spent time at Gma Pace's with all of Stephen's family.
7: They sang barbershop and we ate some of Grandma's wonderful home cooking.
8: March - April 2010 In March, Stephen went to NJ/PA to audition for a graduate program. While there he got to eat a huge Philly Carrot Cake and visit with Mom & Dad Smith and Max. In April, I attended Kara's baby shower. She's having a boy!

10: April 26, 2010 Amy Brennan & Billy Dalebout were married in the Salt Lake City Temple. I attended her temple sealing and got to visit with Julie, Megan, Rebecca & Katie.
11: Stephen made a delicious dinner and magic bars with ice cream for dessert! JilliAnne, Benjamin, Jonathan and Bonnie came to celebrate with us. | May 14, 2010
12: May 2010 As the end of May approached, we said our goodbyes because we were off to VA for Stephen to perform with Wolf Trap Opera for the summer. | Breakfast with Megan, Maren & Amanda | At Happy Sumo with Jonathan & Bonnie | WhyTry Office: I started work here on October 1, 2008. I had a great view of the mountains from my desk and I loved looking in the snack cabinet!
13: May 2010 We had a few days to visit with Gma Jensen before leaving Utah. It snowed just days before we left! On our way to VA, we stopped in NJ to visit with Mom & Dad Smith. We went kayaking and ate lots of good home cooking.
14: June - August 2010 Our Summer Dorm | While Stephen performed with Wolf Trap Opera, we stayed at George Mason University dorms in Fairfax, VA. | Virginia
15: June 2010 | We went to a Sheryl Crow concert at the Wolf Trap Filene Center for free.
16: We spent a day in Washington, DC. Some places we visited included: the Washington Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the WW2 Memorial. | June 2010
17: We went to the Smithsonian Museums (Natural History and American History). We also visited the Holocaust Museum. After an exhausting day, we stopped at Outback for steak and snow crab.
18: June 2010 We went with Amy & Billy to the Air Force Memorial to hear the Air Force Band play.
19: June 19-20, 2010 Father's Day | We made a quick trip up to NJ (from VA) to surprise Dad Smith for Father's Day. Mom quietly let us in the front door and brought us into the family room where we caught him completely off guard!
20: July 11, 2010 Stephen performed in the opera chorus for The Turk in Italy at Wolf Trap. He did a fantastic job being a gypsy and a "ballerina" at a masquerade!
22: July 25, 2010 Stephen also performed in an opera scenes production at Wolf Trap. He starred in La fille du regiment and sang with the rest of the studio artists in Tonight from West Side Story. Once again, he did a fantastic job!
24: Summer 2010 We made sure to take a few trips to the Washington D.C. Temple during the summer. This was the first temple I did baptisms in.
25: August 2, 2010 We made homemade cupcakes with cake mix, buttermilk, and Andes mints. Yum! | August 5, 2010 We went to dinner at Sweetwater Tavern with Melanie (my friend from freshman year at BYU).
26: Stephen is official! He has this badge and all these head shots to prove it!

34: September 2010 First day of school, new haircut, & fresh fruit pie!
35: September 14, 2010 Stephen turns 26! | I sent Stephen on a scavenger hunt to find his birthday gift. He searched the coat closet, toilet, washer, freezer, our bedroom, etc.
36: Stephen finally found a bread maker in the trunk of our car. He also got birthday money from parents and grandparents!
37: False alarm! (I packed food storage in the bread maker box.) | Playing Phase 10 | Cherry Nut Cake!
38: October 2010 We went to Brown County State Park to see the beautiful changing leaves.
39: October 2010 Stephen performed in the opera Little Women at IU. Here he is with his makeup on. Right: Stephen posing with the first loaf of bread from our bread machine!
40: We went to Utah for Benjamin & Becky's wedding. We got to visit Gma Jensen, JilliAnne, Gma & Gpa Smith, and the McGarr's while we were there too! | Making spaghetti sauce with meatballs for Gma Jensen. | November 2010
41: November 20, 2010 Benjamin and Becky were married in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a beautiful ceremony and we were so happy to be a part of it. | Afterwards we went to eat at a restaurant with Mom & Dad Pace, Jonathan, Bonnie, Daniel, Julianna, Great Uncle Jerry & Aunt Ellen.

43: We went to visit Jordan, Chandra, Travis, Kassie and our nieces and nephews in MI for Thanksgiving break.
44: The night we got back from MI, we ate a nice smattering of snacks and put up our Christmas tree! | November 27, 2010
45: Stephen had two auditions in NYC, so we visited Mom and Dad Smith in NJ. Unfortunately Stephen got sick and couldn't audition, but we still enjoyed a relaxing weekend. | I made short scarves with embroidered names for all the members of the Pace family. This was my first successful sewing project without assistance. | December 3-6, 2010
46: December 21-31, 2010 We went to California to spend our Christmas break with the Pace Family. We baked lots of cookies and shelled tons of walnuts. Those present were Grandma Fincher, Mom & Dad Pace, Jonathan & Bonnie, Benjamin & Becky, Daniel, and Julianna.
47: We enjoyed hanging out, singing, and opening presents of course! | Uncle Kendall, Aunt Sherry, and Uncle Jim joined us on Christmas morning
