FC: Our First Year Together 2011-2012

As is proper we start with The Three Gatos (no three musketeers here) - Natasha, Marlow and Voltaire.

We went to the Texas State Fair with Joseph and Marci, and these photos of awesome cars are all we have to show from it. But I promise we were there!

We did SPARKLERS! It was my first time. I may have had a bit more fun than someone my age should.

Why yes...The pumpkin is drinking some wine. Isn't that the only way to celebrate.

Halloween 2011 - We carved our first pumpkins, and posed them on the bar. Greg and I had also arranged matching Steampunk costumes (though I used my corset from Scarborough earlier in the year). We wore them to a Farm to Market dinner at the Fatted Calf.

More cat photos...We may be crazy cat people.

Greg and I went down to San Antonio to visit/meet his brother Steve and his family (Bonnie, Eleanor, and Charlotte). Eleanor asked why I was there and repeatedly told me I could leave, but Uncle Greg had to stay. Sweet thing. Also his brother Chris was there.

The real reason we came.... Nieces!!!

Puppy Play Date! It was Cooper and Probie's first time meeting in person and after Probie figured out stairs (he was not a fan) it went off without a hitch.

Christmas 2011 Celebrated at my parents, as per usual before the actual holiday.

Gifts, gifts and more gifts were exchanged. My parents got gin and scotch from Greg

My gift from Greg brought me to tears and back - a gorgeous Swaworski crystal necklace. I almost always wear it these days and have never owned anything that gets me more compliments.

After I had moved in to Greg's, sometime early in 2012, we decided we needed just a "few" bookshelves. After weighing our options, we went with the Ikea Billy bookshelves and spent a nice weekend building them, and mounting them to the walls. I learned how to use the power drill! I then spent the next week arranging and rearranging the books. Alphabetizing them was fun, especially when the cats tried to help. Turns out there still isn't enough room for all the books on the shelves, so the religion, philosophy, manga and DVDs are still in the library/study.

On April 10, it was Jessica's birthday! There were two kinds of pie - banana cream and chocolate. Alls these pictures are pre-nosebleed.

Jessica Lenore Cagel Born April 20th 2012

On April 29th we celebrated my 25th birthday! My mom made Stroganoff and homemade noodles, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Ganache Cake!

Jefferson May 2012 We went to Jefferson, TX in May to celebrate our one year anniversary. While there, Greg proposed to me!

A few final Pictures that just don't Fit Anywhere 1) Natasha and Volt having a standard stand off at Fort Natasha. 2) It is a fact that the Natasha cat loves fruit, especially bananas (note the pictorial proof). 3) Probie, the dog that brought us together (Ok, maybe not so much, but still). 4) Greg and Me, right after I hacked off my hair. 5) A perturbed Little-Red-Riding Natasha. 6) The second random dog that picked up Greg. Lovingly known as Probie Dos. 7) Natasha the Cabinet Opener in action.
