S: Remembering 2011
1: Starting off the year SWIMINGLY. The girls continued on with their swimming lessons. This year Hannah was able to pass the deep end test and swim all on her own. Julia can swim short distances on her own but really is more confidant in the water with her swim belt on.
3: The week of Easter It was EGGtra Special with 3 egg hunts, dinner at Brian and Nancy's and the treats lasted until Halloween.
4: Schoolhouse Montessori Memories Hannah and Julia finished up the school year with a concert, they both enjoyed singing.
5: Summer Fun Getting already for Michigan football early, since Alan won tickets to the first night game. Julia and Mama were testing out their sun hats on a hot day. We all love ice cream cones as our favorite after dinner snack. Summer is also for sleeping in.
6: A visit from Gene and a Night for a Fire The girls like the sunroof open on such a nice day. We also enjoyed Gene paying us a visit. We all roasted marshmallows over the firepit at Brain and Nancy's.
7: Summer is for Swimming,visiting the Library, and Close Ups.
8: Summer is also for Camp at the YMCA and just having fun in the Yard...playing in the pool and water balloons.
9: School Days Starting in Troy Public Schools. | Hannah's 1st Day of School | Julia's Pajama Day | Leaving for the 1st day of School
10: Family Trip to Cranbrook The family explores the Dinosaur exhibit, seeing the bats, walking outside and we took in a show at the planetarium.
11: Grandma and Papa Visit We have fun at the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum.
12: Did someone say Raspberries? Us girls ventured out to pick raspberries... a lot of raspberries. We made 2 dozen jars of jam and had some left over to eat. Yum Yum Yum We also stopped and saw the farm animals and Hannah and Julia climbed on the big tractor.
13: Happy 4th Birthday Julia! Julia loves Princess, Barbie, and wearing Dresses. She is a free spirit who loves to dace and sing with the music.
14: Julia wanted to go to the beach ...it was fun, even though it was October.!
15: I don't ever want to be too old to clown around on my Birthday.
16: Brian kept up the tradition of helping carving pumpkins. This year, POWER TOOLS. | We all had fun... Julia, Hannah, Nancy and Brian's Pumpkins.!
18: Autumn leaves never had so much FUN
19: Family Vacation in November The water park was great, The drive was not too long, They upgraded our room, and we can't wait to do it again. Next time, we plan on Hannah, Julia, Mama, and Daddy all NOT getting sick... and to get better pictures.
20: Happy 6th Birthday Hannah Hannah loves, science, reading, swimming and gymnastics. This year she had some of her friends over for pizza making, bead craft, a pinata and then brownies and ice cream.
21: Alan turned 60...we didn't get any pictures, but for the occasion he received the solar powered watch he had been wanting.
22: Christmas Eve Brian and Nancy's was wonderful as usual. We had a great dinner, dipped fruit in chocolate for desert, and exchanged presents.
23: Christmas Day We had a relaxing day. The turkey turned out great. We all watched a movie and the girls enjoyed playing with their new toys. Dawn survived another Christmas with the Arnetts.!
24: Christmas Break We went swimming at the YMCA; Hannah discovered she had her first wiggly tooth, and Julia is enjoying the, no bangs look...she is growing them out. The weather was mild for December so we took bike rides up to the school, it was still cold enough to have hot chocolate when we got home.
25: I went out to visit my mom after she had her hip surgery.
