FC: A wonderful mother,father, Nana, and Grandad! We love you!
1: Christmas at Mom and Dads. We had a bunch of snow and made a snow fort. What a special time.
4: Ella and Nana played a duet together in Ella's first piano recital. They were great. We decorated cookies at Julie's house and that was a "treat" as usual!!
5: Happy Birthday Grandad!
6: Ashlyns 11 birthday. Ashlyn had half her party at home and the other half at the American Girls Store. We went to the store for dinner and cake and then back home for games and presents. The other pictures were from her field trip to Boston. I got to chaperon and we walked the entire Freedom Trail. Such amazing history!Ashlyn also started gymnastics and loves it. She has amazed us!
7: Ashlyn's dance recital. Ashlyn enjoyed a jazz and ballet class in Ashland, Ma. with two friends from school. She also loved climbing the amazing trees in Rhode Island. They were interesting trees that people had brought over from Europe in the early 1900s. We loved looking at the mansions!
8: Elise's Dance Recital Elise did a ballet, tap, jazz combo class. She enjoyed it all and picked up the tap very quickly. She did two dances in the show.
9: Elise turns 8 She had a party at home. We tie dyed shirts, played games outside and inside, had dinner and made necklaces. Elise Principal for the day. We won a raffle and Elise got to spend the entire day with the principal doing principal things. it was so much fun for her. Field Trip We went to the maple syrup farm. We saw how they harvest maple syrup and got to try some. Very interesting.
10: Happy Easter 2012! Thank you for coming to celebrate with us. We loved it.
11: Going on a picnic at the wild bird center in March was a treat. What a pretty spring day. We love Nana!
12: HAPPY EASTER! We had lunch with some friends in Hopkinton. We missed being with Nana and Grandad!
13: Piano Recital The girls did so well! They had worked so hard and played beautifully. The bottom picture is date night with dad at the town hall.
14: Thank you for a dream vacation to Puerto Adventuras! We loved every part of this trip! Memories we will have for a lifetime.
16: We had a nice evening at the Mexican restaurant. We even ate crickets! The decor was very cool. Happy Anniversary dinner!
17: Celebrating 40 years of marriage. What wonderful role models you are for us. Thank you for your wisdom, love and guidance!
20: The food was fabulous and everyone was so accommodating. The girls loved the fancy drinks!
22: So good to see you Nana and Grandad! Dolphin Discovery was a lot of fun for the girls. We swam with the dolphins, fed the manatees, swam with sharks and pet sting rays. It was such an incredible trip! Thank you Nana and Grandad! What a special time and memories we will cherish forever!
24: What a perfect day in early May for a picnic dinner in the Mountains. No wind, no one else around. It was magical.
25: Ella's 8th Bithday. Beautiful day! We planted flowers, had a pinata and lunch. Thank you for the Globe Nana and Grandad!
27: Massachusetts We are thankful for the fun experiences even though it was hard being away from family. Niagara Falls, Stowe Vermont, Rhode Island, Ct. horse riding,New Hampshire, activities and museums in Boston we were busy. Glad we are back in Fort Collins close to you guys!
28: We had a great time with you all at the cabin. The husbands (except Grandad) did not come, but we made fresh raspberry and chocolate desserts, went on a hike up to Alpine tunnel and saw amazing wild flowers and had a campfire and a wonderful time!!
30: Ella and Lily are both in Gymnastics. This was Ella's pre-team performance on her 8th Birthday! How special! Lily (below) loves it too and does very well.
31: Smith, Cartwright & Stith Reunion in Boulder Eldorado Picnic What a beautiful day for a picnic! the girls and Nana had fun playing in the creek and a couple of the girls got in the water all the way. We at sandwiches and a few of us hiked. It was so much fun and relaxing. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
33: We went to Pearl Street. It was hot! Elise got to help the "jamaican in a box. And we went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch! We loved swimming at the Millenium pool!
34: Tye-dying t-shirts was the activity. We had a good time and the girls enjoyed wearing their shirts. Happy Birthday to Julie and Grant.
36: Geneva, we love you! What a fun family weekend this was. We even got to stay in Ashgrove. Thank you Mom and Dad!
38: Lily turns 5! We missed you at her party, but know you were having a great time in Vancouver. We decorated pumpkins and it was a perfect fall day. She is a sweet and happy little girl. We are still thankful for our "miracle girl"
39: Nana, what's on your head???..... "relaxing" and putting on makeup. What could be more fun?
40: Happy Thanksgiving with the Kruses. We missed the Cooks. It was a warm day and we went to the park. Thank you for hosting! Great food!
41: The girls came to stay with you for a night and decorate the tree. You all had a blast and did ornaments, played school, watched The Lorax, etc.
