S: 50th Anniversary Reunion
FC: 50th Anniversary Reunion at Zion's Ponderosa Ranch
50 Years . . . and Counting Dear Dad and Mom, Congratulations on 50 years of marriage. We are grateful for all you have done for us. For the piano lessons, the prom dresses, the hot breakfast before school, the rides to scout camp, all the healthy food and yes even then early morning paper route. We are also grateful for the care packages, birthday cards and the Sunday dinners. We are grateful for your dedication to the gospel and your consistency in obedience to the commandments. It has all contributed to who we are today as parents and people. Thank you and we love you! Love, Kelli, Carla, Heidi, Brent, Robyn & LuAnn
It's probably a good thing that we weren't planning on the fish for dinner. But at least we didn't have to fish any kids out of the lake.
This is what you do while waiting for fish to bite! Did we catch one? Uh...is that really the point of fishing?
The Ponderosa is alive and well. You see Little Joe and Hoss? Oh wait, they're not here, but there are plenty of other cowboys to take their place - Megan, Erika, Alexis, Kelli, Riley, LuAnn, Robyn...and I think Heidi and her horse are hiding. | Horseback Riding
 Bess & Alexis | Frankie & Riley | Sal & Megan | Gus & Robyn
 Canon | Simon | Eli | EmiLee | Jack
They look like they're happy to be repelling, but really they're just happy to be in the sunlight. It was COLD! | Canyoneering
The Subway | Brent was prepared for everything, flash flood, freezing overnight temperatures, disease. He was a little disappointed that all of the other unprepared hikers didn't come calling in a time of extreme panic.
 Everyone made it out alive!
 The Campfire
The Skits | This | led to this | which led to this...who knew we had such performers!
The Girls Outing Oh, oh, girls just wanna have fun!
That hair came in handy when it came time to start the fire! | What are we waiting for? Oh yeah...Kelli had to go back to pay for the ice cream and get her sunscreen out of hock! | Nice smile Kelli and Carla
Angel's Landing | What an exhilarating hike! Who was the most anxious? Everyone was at some point even if they won't admit it! But it was evident that the best time to enjoy this hike is probably when you are in the stage of life that you think you are at least somewhat invincible. All things aside, this is an incredible hike!
Bu | We made it to the top and it was SPECTACULAR!
Paintball | Don't mess with us. We've just been to war and back.
Hike to the pools | Not every picture shows us in our best light. But at least Kelli and Corie tried...
Hiking back from the pools, and on to the parking lot, our party was split into two groups. The always careful and prepared leader of the first group (Brent) made a great trail marker to guide us home.
Canon | Savana | Cory & Ethan | Heidi & little Lauren | Grandpa Bruce | The Olivers
On the Side Lines | Sitting and watching others work hard at play was a great way to relax!
The kids were all excited to try the zip line. Excitement turned to fear once they reached the take off point. But Robyn was not going to let them turn back and sent them on their merry way! EmiLee was the first and did great! The boys were terrified! | The Zip Line
Sad faces quickly turned to happy faces after they realized how fun it was. Jack, the youngest zipper (almost 3), led the Oliver boys off and showed Simon it was no big deal. Afterwards all he could say was, "I was up there and then I went there."
 Dinner at the Grill
What is the best way for a chef to top his own cooking? | Balloon Magic!!
 Around the House
While we did play a lot - there was also some serious work that needed to be done. Internet surfing, train sorting and "Green" initiatives that needed implementing
And it wouldn't be a complete Crowther trip without a little exercise.
